Post from France: "Crème de châtaigne"
Hello my dear Steemians,
About 3 weeks ago I noticed a post of Quentin, a user from France, who told us about the production of chestnut cream, I have never heard about that and after chatting in comments with Quentin I ordered some just for taste.
If you are interested in the post please visit the link:
Today when the postman arrived I was very excited about the parcel, that was very well and carefully packed. Of course, @myskye, my hubby had to open up the parcel and I documented that moment :)
Here we found a little note with Happy New Year too.
We have ordered two glasses and both had nice air bubble wrapping.
Here are they after been unwrapped "Crème de châtaigne" that is produced by family of Quentin in Provence and his father Dominique Deschamps. Here is how the products is described: The cream is organic with organic cane sugar and it is sweetened to the legal minimum imposed (56 g per 100 g). It is prepared with 50 g of fruit per 100 grams in this website about the cream:
Here you can see that we have a good expiry date till 2027:
This is our tasting of the creme and it was indeed, lighter than peanut butter actually completely different taste but it is good as desert for breakfast with some tea :)
Thank you very much @quentindeschamps for the taste of chestnut cream and also for posting!
Thank you very much :) Bon appétit !
