Garden update: Blooming flowers

Today I wanted to give you a little update about my favourite plant that we planted early this year, it is called Thunbergia alata, commonly called black-eyed Susan vine Here you can see how beautiful and strong it is and we finally have first flowers but to have idea how it was looking our work I wanted to present you some pictures from our planting time.

 

Early this year we have bought these two sachet with seeds of the plants, we thought planting more is better because we hoped that at least few will come through.

 

 

Here are two long pots that we spread the seeds and initially it was looking like that for a while but slowly the seeds started to grow and you can see the final result on the first photo. So we can say that was a real success, although the plant is still baby plant, but it is climbing along the wall already.
 

 

Clematis vine plant

 

This plant is very simple and resistant, actually after two years it was dried up and gone, we have cut it down to ground level and thought that this is all and we likely will need a new plant instead. Early this year we were surprised seeing green branches climbing the wall and couple of weeks ago there were few flowers. The plant is very young but has many little flowers, I hope next year it will be stronger and we will have more flowers than now.

 

 

Here are just simple ordinary field flowers, we had a sachet with seeds that we just randomly spread over there. I love that yellow colour, it is like sun in our garden. Insects love it regular visit it.
