Fighting Abuse on Steem: Mass Photo and Art DECEPTION: @wattosaqlain
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
I actually was not planning to post today but one of the use mentioned @art-venture and asked to view his post so I did and was very frustrated to see that the user without even thinking has pointed to his posts that are made of stolen images.
So let’s start…
The user presented his introduction post:
This is the painting and of course:
- That is beautiful watercolor
- Made in Korean watercolor style, which required certain skills, in order to do it, the person should have some experience.
- Also we can see the signature, which is very important.
After quick search:
The real Author of the painting is Samantha Anderson Artist, that is her facebook with her photo as logo and his description:
We decided to check his other post to make sure if he might have done only one mistake but no, his other post was also Plagiarism:

That is such high quality photography, the person should be professional photographer.

Seeing that almost every single posts is plagiarized in our opinion the user had given enough reasons to exclude him from our Community. We also would like to notify @steemcurator01, to support our anti-Plagiarism campaing
If you like what we do, please support our Initiative, it takes a lot of time and research to collect the evidence and we are working hard on keeping Steem blockchain free of Plagiarism and Abuse.

It has always astonished me how much time people spend just to steal others work instead of just be themselves and authentic, which is much easier and more beautiful!
Absolutely agree with you, so much criminal energy. Those people might be the same in real life
This is real life too :) It's just that the fact they live somewhere faraway and the stuff they steal cannot be touched, probably gives them some reason to think this will pass without any consequences. However, there is always balance in the Universe. :)

It's so easy to steal someone else's work these days with just one click. All of us who publish our own creations are exposed to this every single day. And at the same time, it's so hard to prevent it on blockchains/networks like this. Requires too much time that is not available. Therefore, I appreciate every effort in this direction here, and I fully support your initiative. Thank you!
it is indeed but how the person is feeling himself doing that this is something I can't understand. Because the one should try to hide his traces and make sure that nobody will find him. That is not really blogging that is deceiving :)
I had an interesting conversation with friends on this topic last night. Because I've already seen a lot of plagiarism coming from people from my country on the web in general. And every time I see something like this, I am amazed. But yesterday I was told that such people simply do not care about anything. If they manage to lie today and get 10 cents or $ 50, they will be completely satisfied. They don't think about tomorrow and what will happen if they get caught. They have no moral restraints. If they are caught here, they will create an account elsewhere where they will do the same until they are caught again.
And as for blockchain networks, I keep saying that they are not for everyone. But the problem is that everyone thinks it's for him. So, thank you again for being here on time and taking the necessary steps to ban this person!
Such people do not realize that they spoiling the reputation of the their country fellows. Seeing more plagiarism from one certain area Curators will stop curating them at all. On other hand those users do not think that curators usually verify every single account. I usually contact many users even professional Artists or Photographers via other social Media and ask if they are really signed up for Steemit just to be sure.

It's really annoying to see people like this who lie and claim things they don't own. He has been taught a big lesson. I hope he will be worthy of redemption afterwards
That is true, it is horrible to see such cases but even worse when it is happening to us, because then there is such feeling of helplessness. I hope this man will not do it anymore
