Fighting Abuse on Steem: Mass Art Fraud: @ellla. The role of country curators to prevent it.

Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,

 

After relatively long period of quite time there is again the case of Deception that we have noticed as user herself posted in „World of Xpilar“ community.

It is a routine for us to verify the users who posting Visual Art posts, because we would like to reward creativity and originality and as we all know Art was always a field that people try to duplicate and sell as “original” because original was valued.

This time we start with this user @ellla, she is Nigerian

Sounds really good and seems like the user knows that it is important to respect the intellectual property of others and also not to lie. Also notice that she says that she got know Steemit via her brother @alandchi, later on we will return to that user too.

 

Now look at the blog

This is the first post that I have seen yesterday, what made me suspicious this is typical

 

 

After a short search we have found an original source that is the web site tutorial:

It is pure lie and the original drawing is easy to find, the user even did not bother to delete the name of original user

Attention to Community Curators and Newcommer Community

Here I would like to ask @steemcurator01 the opinion. We all know about Steemcurator accounts such as @steemcurator03 till @steemcurator08 they are under the control of Community curators belonging to different countries and also Greeters, Newcomer communities and Steem POD.

 

She has been verified by @ngoenyi, has been welcomed by @ghostfacer99, @arrowgate and

But this is what we have observed in this particular case:

The user posting Mass Art Fraud since beginning of the account September 2021, received twice upvote from Community curator and SC03.

• The user posted 4 times the same Introductory posts: first at very beginning and
• Other 3 posts with the same content word in word 17 and 18 days ago those two received support from Community Leader and SC03.

@steemcurator01 is it allowed to curate recycled posts with the same value of @steemcurator03 in my opinion that is misusing the intention of Country Curator accounts.

The accounts SC03 to 06 have been given to countries and communities but meanwhile maybe it is a time to circulate them too to avoid such situation and give the opportunity other communities to reward their users.

It would be good to hear the opinion of other users, please feel free and we can open the discussion
