I think you're probably lucky that only 1 house is doing it. When we used to drive to my nan's in Hounslow, there'd be 2 houses next to each other that would get more and more ridiculous every year trying to out-do each other. They're probably still doing it!

I am extremely lucky indeed! I think it will never be as bad as last year when due to the pandemic and the regulations most of us were stuck at home unless part of a bubble and people spent lots of pounds, time and effort on decorations like it could have made up for not being together with the rest of the family. I'm sure those two houses in Hounslow are still doing it and I bet they also went over the top last year.

It's a good investment ๐Ÿ™‚ They'll still have all of their decorations and no doubt, they'll be making an appearance again this year - just not in October.

I'm interested as to when your neighbours will take their decorations down? Boxing Day or do the wait until March?

Based on my last yearโ€™s observations, most of them had the Christmas decorations on till mid January. Few then decided to keep having a wreath with some seasonal flowers on their front door. I like that as it gives me something pretty and colourful to look at when I walk past. A lavender wreath is my favourite so far ๐Ÿคฉ

I think our wreath survived until June some time ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ˜ฑ No way! I make my own Christmas wreath and it barely makes it till New Year. I might actually post here in WOX about how to make your own wreath๐Ÿ’กhoping it will be of interest to some of the members.
