Unique Snow Photographs Experiments in Istanbul

Istanbul finally met with a snowstorm. The city has been snowed for 2 days. Although it negatively affected daily life, it offered us beautiful views. We have been waiting for this snowfall for 3 years and finally we encountered it.

Today I took my car out into traffic, even though it was hard. Every time there is heavy snowfall, I go to the northern forests of the city to see beautiful views. Today, I met up with my friend and went to the northern forests of the city to watch the Bosphorus and snow views.

On the hill I went to, a lone dog accompanied us. He was sunbathing on the snow and enjoying the view. The Anatolian side of the city was covered with more snow.

After spending 20 minutes on this hill, our second stop was the hill with a fascinating view that I visit every time it snows.

This is a road opened for easy intervention in forest fires. It resembles a ski slope that seems to extend towards the Bosphorus. A snowstorm accompanied us here.

I first discovered this place in a documentary while watching TV in 2021. In the documentary, they showed that you can ski in Istanbul. Although this place is close to my house, I had never thought of it. After watching the documentary, I visited this place for the first time the next day.

At the end of our day trip, we went to the cafe to have coffee. A snowman welcomed us there.

Although it has snowed a lot here, we used to see heavier snowfall. Although it was the first snowfall in 3 years, it was not very heavy unfortunately..
