Pencil drawing, New Competition (No.37) - Dawn at the edge of the forest.
I wish everyone a bright day and no less bright impressions and I want to present you my next drawing.
Probably I want to be in the morning forest too much since such ideas for drawings come to me one day I will need to make the dream come true.
I think that the name "Dawn at the edge of the forest" would best suit this drawing.
We can say that from the beginning of the work to its completion, almost half a year passed taking into account the same break in work because one fine day I began to draw a mushroom and this sketch was unfinished it only occupied empty space on a sheet of paper.
In fact then I simply did not understand how to complete the overall composition and the idea came only three days ago.
I thought that this mushroom would look good at the edge of the forest and started working.
In order not to get too bored I periodically worked on the trunk of a nearby tree and periodically on the texture of the mushroom itself.
Then I started creating the surrounding landscape and it was a stream valley between two forests.
I don't know which of the two forests has more mushrooms but it's not bad here either no need to cross the river.
When the landscape was finished I decided to darken the sky and create an early morning atmosphere.
After a couple of hours I was able to put my pencils down to rest.
As a result I got this morning landscape in graphite.
