Pencil drawing "Landscape", New Competition (No 01) - An uncontrollable desire to fly.

Once upon a time many people living on earth have an irresistible desire to fly for example looking at free birds or in an attempt to catch up with the setting sun.

An old tree growing on the edge of a sandy cliff at the very edge of the lake waters apparently knows this feeling.

It was tired of feeding where earthworms feed it wanted to spread its branches like the wings of a bird and fly to where the hot sun hides at night.

You've probably seen similar trees that have already lost the main ground under their feet and their roots hang down like jellyfish tentacles.

Someone will say that such a tree is no longer a tenant but life can go its own special way, everything around this tree will disappear and it will continue to tower over the cliff spreading its wings which were never able to lift it into the air.

I haven't picked up a pencil for a long time and their arsenal like paper has become somewhat exhausted but when yesterday an idea came to me to bring the drawing to life I decided not to waste time in vain and got to work right away.

At first I sketched out a future sandy grove on which the freedom-loving tree would grow.

Behind it was a forest that would probably suffer the same fate if the landslide continued.

The near and far shores of the lake began to be framed by reeds.

It was time to create an evening atmosphere.

After a while the drawing looked like this.

Probably with a clear conscience lol I could already put the pencils on the table.
