You have written a nice post. Seeking advice from people you trust is very important. We cannot seek advice from people that are not morally upright or that cannot be trusted.

You made mention that you mostly seek advice from your family members, and I agree with you because they have you at best interest. They will always give you great advice.

But sometimes It's also good to seek advice from nuetral people who will tell you nothing but the truth. People who will not tell you something just to please you but to make you better.

Its important to know that some advice will hurt you but at the end it will make you better.

Most times our family members will only tell us what we want to hear so that we dont feel hurt. That's why seeking advice from a non-family member sometimes is also recommended.
