Sweet Dish / Carrot Pudding / Gajar Ka Halwa

I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today I will present to you all a Pakistani sweet dish which is the most popular dish during the winter season in Pakistan. It is very easy to make and we can easily prepare it at home, in which we need some ingredients, the ingredients are as follows:

Process

Step01

These are all the ingredients we will use to prepare our sweet dish. First of all, we have to wash the carrots well with clean water. After washing them, we have to peel them from the top so that the hairs, etc. on them come off.

After cleaning it properly, we have to cut it into small pieces. Usually, there is a grater in the house with the help of which we cut it thinly. We often use it to make salads. If we can cut it thinly, we can do it easily. Or if someone has a machine, they can do it easily through it. Our goal is to cut them thinly so that it is easy to cook.

Step02

You have all the ingredients, now we will use them. First of all, we have to take a pan, place it on the stove, and turn on the stove. Okay, after that, we put the carrots that we have finely chopped in the pan.

When we put it in the pan, the next thing we have to do is add milk to it. We have to add the same amount of milk as our carrots and we have to cook it for a long time so that it mixes with the ingredients and the milk dries up.

Step03

Our next step is that at the same time, we have to put three to four large cardamoms in it. For good taste, it is usually found in our homes and we use it in various dishes. So, in the same way, we can open the cardamom from the top and take out its seeds and put it in it, or we can also put it with the peel.

Step04

Now we have to cook it properly and cook it until our milk dries up and our carrots are cooked. When it dries up the milk properly, then we will add our dry fruits, which include almonds, raisins, walnuts, and whatever you want to use.

Along with this, we have to add our cream to it. We are using cream because it is strong and we can also use it as milk. If you have less milk, you can increase the amount of cream to make it equal.

Now, after adding all these things, we have to cook it well so that our cream and our dry ingredients mix well.

Step05

One thing I didn't add to the dried fruits earlier was almonds because I ground them into a powder. This powder is not very fine, but a little coarse, and we are using it because it is powerful. The purpose of our product is to make it healthy and give us strength.

Step06

When all our things are mixed, then we have to see that our milk has also dried up. Now we have to add sugar to it. Sugar is added to make it sweet. Amount of sugar: If you have five kilos of carrots, you will use one kilo of sugar. If you have 10 kilos of carrots, you will use two kilos of sugar. After adding the sugar, we have to stir it well so that the sugar gets mixed in.

Step07

Now we have to add oil to it. You can add any kind of oil. If you like desi ghee, then add that to it. If you have ghee, then add that to it. After adding it, we will roast it properly.

Now we have to roast it well for 10 to 15 minutes so that all our ingredients and oil get mixed well in it and after that, our final sweet dish will be ready.

Step08 / Finally

Here you can see that our dish is finally ready. Now we will use Curd in it. If you want to add Curd while it is cooking, you can add it at this time too. But I did not add it at this time, but we will add it later. One layer will be for our halwa and on the second layer we will add Curd. Then we will have a layer of halwa and on top, we will add Curd again. This is how we will store it.

For this we need fresh and juicy carrots.Carrots have a very important role in them without it carrot halwa is not made.These are eaten in different regions of Pakistan. We have also made too carrot halwa in winter.My uncle was in Saudi Arabia, he went to perform Hajj and Umrah and he also works there, so when he came back after two years, we made carrot halwa and other dishes for him. He liked carrot halwa very much. Many people came to our house to meet our uncle and we gave them many dishes along with carrot halwa. When they started going back to Saudi Arabia, we made carrot halwa for them and they took it with them.My mother makes very good carrot halwa and I love her handmade carrot halwa. And we also have breakfast with it and I like it very much.Whenever my uncle's sons pester us and ask for money etc., we give them carrot halwa and they eat it very happily. My brother gets off school late so he takes carrot halwa in lunch and eats it during break. Children eat snacks very happily, which are very harmful to them, and they rarely eat dry fruits. Dry fruit is added to carrot halwa which has many benefits .This is a great way to feed them dry fruits. Sometime also add our post to the top post of the week.I really enjoying reading your post.

Saludos amigo no sabía que se podía realizar un dulce con la zanahoria, su había visto pastel de zanahoria pero pudin no lo sabía me imagino que ha de saber muy bien algo así como una combinación entre dulce y salado por la nata y la cuajada se puede preparar con menos cantidad de ingredientes?
