They did 2 persons yeams and we started with 3 and are with two now and it works super so does our sheet (daily more improved and extras). In September we worked at the same time as well. I am not in for once every 3 days plus it is my experience that other businesses, illness and internet issues happen nearly daily which means that no one takes over if this happens. September most work was done by two as well and the voting and sheet was finished within 2 hours (talks, change of voting strategy included).

I understand it can be easier with 3 but it is hard to build a team if you are not allowed to work with a friend or are hooked with someone who takes the easy way out, is lazy, absent, votes for friends only and so on. This means you have extra work checking others unless you simply don't care.
