How much time do teachers spend thinking about how to teach?

In particular, I consider myself one of the teachers who invests considerable time in thinking about the different strategies that are available and that I can use to teach, all this leads me to motivate myself to look for resources that I consider interesting and that are relevant to the area where I want to apply the teaching, in short, it is an invested time that leads me to plan because of that motivation to find new teaching strategies that are in line with the evolving context that the educational process has had.

However, I think it is normal that many teachers like me, after we get involved with a planning that contemplates an evaluation strategy that we consider in accordance with our innovation plans, we end up realizing that the plan does not turn out as we planned it, the important thing is that even though our planning does not turn out as we expected, we can somehow or other fulfill our expectations, The important thing is that even if our plan does not turn out as we expected, we can somehow or another fulfill our teaching strategy, the one we have thought about so much and for which we have dedicated so much time, as long as we continue to trust that it can be a useful teaching strategy to fulfill the students' learning plans.

The most immediate answer we can get to give us a satisfactory answer as to why our plan may have failed, is because in the class we managed to teach we realize that the student did not grasp the teaching because not all components of the teaching strategy plan were consistent with the reality of the students' learning needs.

The conclusion of the case is that not everything we think about teaching strategies is bad and does not apply, on the contrary if we innovate about teaching strategies is because we are seeking to generate new ideas about teaching strategies, when these strategies fail is because we did not know how to couple them with the learning needs of the student, so I think it is convenient to properly assess the learning needs of students and couple them correctly with our plan of teaching strategies.
