Week2: My Unique Recipe
Hi chefs, today I'll be making peanuts and outlining the steps and procedures to achieve this nice snack.
Peanuts are very crunchy when made well and are still as well. Peanuts contain protein, vitamins and are a good source of fiber.
So today I decided to make some peanuts for customers and also a little as a snack.
Utensils and ingredients used
Frying pan
Whisker
Measuring spoons
Flour
Eggs (depending on the size of peanuts to be done)
Groundnuts
Sugar
Nutmeg
Groundnut oil
Sweeteners and flavors
First I select the groundnuts carefully removing all the dead seeds and ones that look squeezed. If the dead ones are not removed it will definitely taste bad after coating and if it's for commercial purposes, buyers will be able to know that the groundnut was bad. The cups of groundnuts determine the amount of peanuts to be done. I used two cups
Next I break 4 big eggs and mix my sweeteners, flavors , nutmeg and sugar inside. The number of eggs also determine the size of peanuts too.
Using my whisker I whisk the condiments thoroughly for five minutes to make sure that everything is carefully immersed in the egg liquid.
Then, I measure some flour, pour the egg into the groundnut, four spoons at a time and I coat the peanuts in a roundabout movement. I do that repeatedly until the peanuts are big enough to my taste.
.
Then I set my oil on the fire for five minutes. When it's hot, I pour the coated peanuts inside and fry it until it's brown.
Next, I use my sieve to drain the oil off the peanuts. Then I spray it on a clean cloth to dry. When it's dry and warm I transfer it inside a bucket
My peanuts are mostly for commercial purposes so I use bottles to package them for distribution and supplies later in the day.
The peanuts are really crunchy, creamy and soothing to eat.
It is also very satisfying. I can literally have this for lunch and not feel hungry till evening 😁
