The Egyptian themed Corinthians Club in Pune City
I had to travel to Pune city to meet my old Uncle and Aunt, both of them are now 90+ age and have not been keeping very well. Whenever I am in India I make it a point to visit them, they feel good and I also feel nice. It's a short 2 days visit. As such I have a few friends in the city but this time I travelled with my hubby and son so I wanted to spend time with them only.
Thinking what to do in the evening, one of my friend suggested us to visit this Clubhouse - Corinthians in the city, which is well known for it's Egyptian theme. We took the suggestion and visited the place and truly it was a nice charming place to spend the evening. Only members are allowed at the club, so when we reached there the manager politely informed us that we could not use the Restaurant by the pool side, which offer the best ambiance in the place, as that's only for the members. But we could use the indoor restaurant. We requested them if they could consider allowing us to use the Pool side restaurant. After some back and forth conversations they agreed.
All around the place, we could see different types of Egyptian art work and reliefs. It was something very different than the normal places we visit, quite fascinating.
The entrance itself gave a very good reflection of the art work.
The image of Goddess Isis is at the entrance. Goddess Isis was known for her Healing and Protection powers.

The place is built on a height surrounded by gardens. I am sure day time would be more beautiful.
The Pool side restaurant was a surprise. We were glad that we insisted on getting a seating place in this area because it was worth it.
There was a artificial created waterfall, which added the glamour to the place.
The Bar area looked classy
Every corner of the Clubhouse was well planned and designed.
It was a good evening spent with my family. The food was good and the ambiance was excellent.

Thank you. And that's perfectly fine, you do not need to be sorry. We all do this activity as an when we have time. I am always delayed on replying back to comments but I make sure I do it, even if it's after a few days, and it is not that you have to comment on every post, Only if you like you should.

The place is very classy, but the good part is it's not very expensive since it's a club house

Meeting our Uncle and Aunt was a very good feeling, though we felt sad because Uncle's has not been keeping very well.
