DEPRESSION AND ANGER
According to the American Psychiatric Association's definition of depression,
Depression is a major depressive disorder or illness that is both common and serious with a lot of negative affects on how you feel, think and act. It is capable of creating feelings of sadness, loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities. It can lead to a lot of emotional and physical problems and a loss of efficiency in a person’s ability to work. Source: psychiatry.org
What must I do to conquer depression and anger? |

Get professional help : to conquer depression in a decisive victory you will need the assistance of a professional, an experienced therapist who will provide guidance, support and recommended medication.
Lifestyle adjustments : as part of madication, you may have to adjust your lifestyle, Which may include recommended exercises, consumption of selected food and quantity, getting enough good quality sleep and connecting with supportive family and friends.
Weed out negative thoughts : identify negative thought partterns and weed them out, replacing it with positive thoughts and behaviors. Every thought that fuels the depression should be consciously removed. This approve is sometimes referred to as cognitive behavioral therapy.
To address anger issues, you will have to isolate the trigger, what ignites and fuels your anger? Once you can tell what triggers the anger, then work on your response to the the trigger.
Contemplate on consequences if you can foresee the effects of your reaction, you are more likely to restrain yourself. Anger often results in actions that are latter regretted. Do not save or bottle in your anger, express it in a positive way.

Though depression can result in anger, the two emotions are not the same. Anger is an intense feeling of rage, frostration or irritation that often comes as a reaction to percesived injustice, threat or abuse.
Depression on the other hand creates feelings of intense sadness, worthlessness and hopelessness often characterized by a the sufferers having a negative view of themselves.
Anger is a reactive behavior while depression is chronic in nature.

Depression can come from a wide variety of sources while in some cases, a combination of factors.
On the psychological front: depression could be caused by stress or a past trauma experienced by a person.
From a social perspective: a person's depression could be as a results of financial problems from unemployment, toxic relationships.
Biological factors: it could be as a result of brain chemistry and the way we think about stuff.
How do we Cope With Anger and Depression? |

Try not to put everything in your head, let some things pass. Do not take yourself too serious.
Some things can be overlooked.
O will think about the results of my action and the anger will die off.
I try hard not to act on impulses. Play out the situation in my head first and see possible outcomes.
To avoid getting depressed, I find joy in the activities that I do. Once a process is becoming stressful, I adjust.
I believe in myself.

Identify the feelings the leads to depression and curb them. This falls under cognitive behavioral therapy. Make proper use of antidepressants drugs. Going to an experienced therapist will go a long way.
Work on your anger, identify the end of your action and avoid it. Take your time and don't think too much of yourself. Issues that can be overlooked should be overlooked. An angry reaction never ends well, respond with a clear head, free from anger.
