Let's do it...Do It Yourself 👉 Card board steering wheel- Art from waste.
Hi friends,
I am Jyoti from India I would love to participate in this 76 week Let's do it...Do It Yourself contest : https://steemit.com/hive-168072/@ngoenyi/winners-for-week-74-or-or-week-76-begins-let-s-do-it-do-it-yourself-craft-creativity-drawing-origami-diy-recycling-and-more @ngoenyi in the Steem For Ladies community.
The children at my son's school have agreed that each of them must construct and bring out every piece of cardboard in order to create a working model of an automobile. In light of this, my kid says that he is building the steering wheel and that the other pupils must construct models of the wheel, door, bonet, etc., which they will then put together at school. So we (Me and my Son) started making steering wheel with a cardboard as per given measurement.

Required materials
- Waste cardboard box
- Glue gun
- Pencil
- Scale
- Scissors
- Knife/Cutter
- Emmery paper
STEP1:
To make the steering wheel, we first took a waste cardboard box and cut out both sides of it separately.
STEP2:
We drew a circle on the plan to the size given to him at school and cut it out and also drew an inner circle inside the same way.
STEP3:
In a similar manner, we drew a little circle in the center and three rectangles in the shape of a "Y" on it.
STEP4:
Then we cut out the C shape between the line of the second circle and the outer line of the third circle and the rectangle.
STEP5:
The other two C-shaped forms have also been cut out in the center of the "Y" rectangle shape.
STEP 6:
A steering wheel-shaped component is now ready. We took another piece of cardboard and constructed it in the same manner since we wanted it to be a little thicker but still durable.
STEP7:
To make it stronger, we next used a glue gun to adhere the two steering shape pieces one on top of the other and let it dry and set.
Now the card board steering wheel ready, we used emmery paper to rub the edges to make smooth.
I would like to invite my friends
@ahsansharif, to take part in this contest.
