Sure, there's no need to take part. It's a decision and could be a way of choosing how to go about our life, also if there's nothing one can do about it.
And definitely animals don't do drama. They have no idea what that is, they live as life goes on.
We could do the same as the animals, actually we did before we knew the world "drama" same for so many words like depression, discrimination, menopause and so on.
