Dulu sebelum saya mengenal steemit saya sering menonton drama yang ada di Indosiar, drama yang banyak mengandung bawang di dalamnya, bagaimana mana tidak selalu saja ceritanya setelah di hina miskin kemudian jadi kaya raya 🤭.
Dulu saya berfikir drama seperti ini hanya ada di televisi saja, eh ternyata di alam nyata juga ada, bahkan keluarga teman dekat saya mengalaminya.
Mendengar ceritanya saja sampai saya greget, ayahnya hampir menikah dengan perempuan lain namun berhidi gagalkan oleh anak dan istrinya.
Akhirnya mereka tidak jadi menikah dan hidup bahagia lagi bersama istri dan anak -anaknya. Sungguh sebuah drama yang sangat menguras emosi serta air mata bukan? Begitulah kehidupan yang penuh dengan drama-drama yang tidak berguna.

Drama, this is something that happens in everyone’s life. In fact it happens on a day to day basis for some. I come from a country (India) where drama is so ingrained in us that we have soap operas having so much of emotional drama running for such long durations as well. From movies to series to television to shows to theatres Drama is everywhere. Sometimes you even see Reality shows on TV having so much of Drama. 🎭 A lot of times we need to face it in real life too. After all what we see on screen is just a reflection of how society works.
Well not only on screen but we have a lot of Books also which are full of dramatics and other elements which make it so intriguing. Books are a great source of drama and entertainment. So I feel we should all learn how to deal with it and face any drama if we come across it anytime.

Yes. India is the land of drama. The scriptures like Ramayana nd Mahabharata are pure drama. They have been studied and read in India for centuries. The star of the show is the Personality of Godhead in whatever incarnation He may be manifesting. Rama, Krishna... His incarnations are unlimited. This is how He enjoys. Drama. His pastimes are eternal. There is no material pain or suffering. I pray to perform on that stage.

Can you give some examples because I don't have drama on a daily base in my life. I wonder if what you call drama is what we would label as such.
It's interesting to hear the drama is involved in the culture, films, books... I wonder about the reason. Is it to make the people feel better, to ventilate to say "It's fine to exaggerate if you want to be noticed"?

Yes certainly. In life there can be drama in families between siblings, for instance if a person marries someone their sibling didn’t approve of they stop talking to each other. Or sometimes siblings do various things to get the property for themselves. There can be drama created in office spaces where people gossip about each other. So yes there can be such kind of drama on a day to day basis in a negative manner
You are quite right! Every thing and every aspect of life has its own drama.
Most people have to dramatise their life experiences for others to watch and learn from.
When I watch TV drama series I love it when when the tides change for good.

Holaa señora amiga 🙂 espero este bien lo que pasa es que los adultos siempre nos están diciendo que nosotros los adolescentes somos muy dramáticos 🫣 que por todo nos deprimimos incluso nos llaman "la generación de cristal" yo creo que no es así , por lo menos como no deprimirnos cuando vemos que nuestros padres se separan, o como no deprimirnos cuando vemos que nos hacen bullying en el cole. ok entiendo que antes no le hacían caso a eso o eran más fuertes no se, o simplemente se tragaban las cosas para no molestar a los adultos pero mal por ellos por qué no lo superaban entonces creo que ahorita hay más herramientas psicológicas para eso. Life itself is a drama. I believe that human beings are living while acting out a written script. Drama in a human life has its moments, because life unfolds as we make different choices, since we (man) are free-will agents, which brings about ups and downs, twists and turns, especially because one cannot read the drama script beforehand, but the beauty lies in the process of just living in it, taking it one day at a time
While making this drama "Life", we become the protagonist of the drama and every other person or thing against us is the antagonist, thereby making us all actors.
In this drama we usually have unpredictable moments of comedies, tragedies and each of these blends are very essential for the drama called life.

Life can be a drama if we see it that way. If not there's no drama. I never heard anyone say with us life is. It can be hard, sad, a struggle, fight, disappointing, without a future perspective but not a drama.
We try to avoid them or dislike them? Perhaps it is because we have smaller families and live more anomynous?
To us drama is exaggerating and something from the films and films aren't real. For sure it also helps to fight on if you watch others' miseries afterall we love it if others do worse than we.

The beautiful thing about this big script called life is that, we the characters live individually but not entirely separated from the rest. Our stories are intertwined yet unique. Our stories aren't the same but we all have had a part to play in other people's lives. And that really intrigued me.

Everybody dislikes drama, as who wouldn’t? It’s fraught with stress, pain, heartache, miseries or what have you. If there is one thing that makes drama worth everybody’s while, I’d say watching this Korean drama series, Reply 1988.
The story revolves around 5 teenagers and their close-knit families who live in the same neighborhood. The show portrays the everyday joys, conflicts, pain, and sacrifices within the families highlighting complex human relationships. In my view, these series strike a perfect balance between comedy and drama. You’ll find yourself laughing your heart out and beating your chest, as the show mirrors the reality many of us have experienced. From the title itself, the show is set in the 1980s, evoking a strong sense of nostalgia for the retro era.

Saya sangat suka melihat drama,zaman dahulu sebelum ada televisi saya juga suka mendengarkan drama dari radio,saat ini selain drama Indonesia juga yang saya suka drama korea,selain wajahnya yang cantik-cantik dan tampan,tetapi aktingnya juga bagus,bahkan kalau terus diikuti ceritanya bisa terbawa suasana,kalau ceritanya sedih pun saya bisa ikut menangis,kalau di Indonesia saya suka melihat drama di Indosiar, walaupun ceritanya selalu tentang perselingkuhan.
Tapi semenjak ada hp android saya lebih suka melihat drama di aplikasi yang ada di hp,seperti yang sedang viral saat ini yaitu drama tentang ipar adalah maut,rasanya gemes kalau melihat si adik yang tega mengkhianati kakak kandung sendiri,entah dimana fikirannya sampai tega menghancurkan rumah tangga kakaknya sendiri.demikian sedikit dari saya tentang drama, terimakasih.

What is life without drama? Nothing. Sometimes people become so frustrated they seek to eliminate all drama from their lives and simply exist. This gives some temporary relief. Like going deep into sleep with no dreaming. But it is temporary. Again there is wakefulness and the dramas unfold again. A better solution than sleep or suicide for relief from the stress is detachment. To be able to view the drama from a distance even while participating. Make some popcorn and watch the show.
That indeed is the best solution. A plus is if you watch is from a distance you know how it will end.

Drama is a genre of literature that involves action and dialogue. Just like we see in real life, drama involves acting out real life situations. Infact, every occurrence in life is what is acted out. The books we read are written from real life situations, the movies we watch etc. There are certain things that happens to us or to others and we realize that we have watched it or read about it. Some occurrences in life are so shocking that it sounds as if it's fiction but it's non fiction and it is acted for people to learn lessons from. Just like drama has actors, actresses, protagonists, antagonists, villains, etc, it is the same in real life. Drama cannot be complete without an action and the same in real life. Drama has a flashback and climax. It can turn out to be tragedy or comedy and we are the actors while God is the director or the producer.

The world is a stage and we all are actors and actresses and our lives is the scripts that we are acting out whether consciously or unconsciously.
I remember when I had admission to study performing arts in the university, one of my uncles vehemently kicked against it saying "how will I go to the university for four years just to act drama and dance but I just laughed over it because I know that's the general mentality most people has about the course.
But then my response shocked him...
Uncle take it or leave it, everyone is acting drama in this life, and then he asked me how?... I told him,
Look at the politicians in power, ain't they all acting up, is this what they promised the masses to do before they were sworn into power?, I thought they promised to do heaven and earth for the people; fake promises just to gain acceptance and love. Now see where we are.
Or is it a man and a woman who promised to love themselves till eternity?.
Before we could say Jackrobinson 😀they are separated. Sir please leave me alone o, because all of us we are acting drama.

I agree with you we all act some better, way better than others. Wearing masks we are good at and if it comes to certain actors I wonder if they are actong at all. I doubt it. The real person we rarely meet and if this person is called: Harsh, mean and worse.

The streets of Lagos are filled with drama. It's the kind of drama you would expect to see in a movie. The wicked mother-in-law, the neglected kid stealing from a provision store and the hit-and-run driver.
These characters might not know that they have one thing in common. An audience. An audience waiting to devour every bit and pieces of the whole story, getting ready to narrate their own version to whoever cares to listen.
But that's a problem.
They get so hooked up in writing and editing the scene in their heads that they forget that these characters are also humans beings like them. A good example is an accident scene. There's a driver, a passenger and one is left traumatised after the event or both. One might survive, or both. There's an emergency but no one would be in a hurry as they all have their phones ready to get a good shot. The one who cares is asked if he studied medicine. A potential good Samaritan might not want to take the helpless victim to a hospital, in fear of been accused of his death.
They stare again and again. They try using water. They find out, it doesn't do anything, then they try to fan the victim before they all agree that, yes, they need to send this person to a hospital.
And most times, it's too late.

With us no one would be in a hurry and if yiu can't 101 rules you have to follow befire an ambulance can be called. The streers of Lagos are everywhere but we close our eyes, ignore, walk by and mind our own business. Phone at home or in the picket no need to film the misery, no reason to stand still, no time to give aid.
And if you are the one serioysly harmed, barely alive and arrive in the hospital the first question will be: Do you have a health insurrance.
At most times you are send home.

Well, while some people would bask in the attention of drama they created or did not, some people would do everything to avoid it.
And sometimes, it could be unavoidable; that is when life drama happens and one has no choice than to maneuver their way around it.

@wakeupkitty.pal, God doesn't create drama rather our activities on earth and our destiny can be compared to drama and God can be compared to the director or producer. God already knows everything just like the director or producer already knows everything that will happen in the drama, thanks.
Actually, a director directs, steers the actors and tells them how to act. I will be the last one saying that god creates drama since I believe people do and people blame others. Next to that "drama" is a word that seems to be very popular just like stress, discrimination, burnout, depression, you name it. If we don't know the word, we won't suffer from it.
