Hi everyone hope all of you great Steemians are doing well. I'm bringing you update on the current steem promotion here in the City of Uyo.

Everyday is for Promotion but every thursday is set aside for shoutout Promotion,

together with @eliany we join other great Steemians to Nung Udoe to tell people about steem and the impact it can have on both their social life and their financial life thanks to the country representative @ngoenyi who lead the team to the area and benton3 for his support together we were able to sign up new person.

Worthy of note is the fact that we were also able to encourage some newbies to come out and join us for the promotion,

@ubongudofot @nikkypeter and @adylinah were the newbies who came out.

at the end they were glade they came out and one of them was able to sign up a new person.

We had a little refreshments after hours of promoting steem in that community.

On our way going back since i was the one driving some members of the team, i noticed that my car breaks are bad so i quickly stopped at a garage and i bought the break pads, paid a Mechanic and the problem was fixed.

Steemit meetup

Every Saturday, there is always meetup to encourage and motivate steemians to continue steeming. This week, the meetup was held at Doctors Mess, since it was raining others join through zoom, I and @eliany join through zoom initially but we made it to the venue. Many steemians shared their challenges why most of them are discouraged and I was also encourage.

Promoting steem with my business, accepting steem

As a steemian I have seen steem coin as the future of crypto currency that is why have decided to start accepting steem in my business thus promoting steem because the more people start using the coin and accepting it as a mean of payment the will appreciate more in value.

For example just yesterday after our meetup at Doctors Mess which happens to be my business place as well the country representative @ngoenyi decided to patronize my business, she bought DRINKS and BARBECUE FISH worth 30steems all which was fully paid with steemcoin.

Am working hard to encourage other food vendors to also start accepting steem this will go a long way to popularize the coin and make it easily available for daily transactions.
