You are the sunshine in Steemit's life
Even though no one knows you are around

You are the future and we will instruct you
To give the best you can, don't be a copycat!

You are welcome to leave your footprint
Make sure others remember you

Go for a positive attitude

'cause it's not good to be muted
after your first chat.

Newbie, yes, that is your name you better get used to it as long as you are allowed to use it (not that anyone will if you refuse to use all those hashtags if only the first 4... count!)
Do you need a place of your own, some corner where you can think, ask, or reconsider joining Steemit is a good thing? You can do it here.

If you don't know it yet... SCB stands for Steemit Chat Box

If no one is around make yourself at home. Sorry. we do not offer you coffee, tea, or soda but you can read the messages left behind and the comments as well. I tell you, if you read the comments... man you learn so much more and will see how easy it is to type a few hundred words if that's what they ask from you. Not me by the way because creativity shouldn't be restricted or spoiled by typing more words than necessary.

I ᑕᗩᑎ'T ...

Yes, you can. You are free to go and write where you like it. You are not locked into a madhouse or imprisoned. You don't need a QR, ID, or certificate to explore Steemit and it's a wise thing to do. You have time since your SP is too low to post 4 times a day anyway.
It's exactly what I did when I joined a few years ago, I took my phone the moment I woke up and scrolled my way over the platform to understand how it worked (I had no clue but figured out how to write, post, read, upvote and... comment.

ᑎOT ᗩ ᗯᖇITEᖇ

Yes, we know most of you (and us) are not and you came to earn. The good news is everything can be learned and there's no reason to lie about it. Your first step is knowing yourself and... finding your niche! A niche is what you are good at, some skill and you love to share and tell about! What is it you like to talk about and makes you smile if you do so? Drawing, painting, photography, gaming, watching films, listening to music, cooking? If so that is your niche.

We all have our writing style and there's no need to compare yours with someone else.
The only thing you have to do is practice and The Freewriters are the best place to do this or post in your blog. No one watches you and with some luck, you receive some upvotes and you win( if you join the contest) and receive Steem, SP, UVF, and SBI! How cool is that?

There's no need to care about an upvote if prizes like those mentioned are given and the best of all is you do not share a percentage of these rewards with those who upvoted you. It sounds like a win-win to me and.. there are hundreds of prizes to win if you have a look at DISCONNECT!
This is the place where you can find a daily update of all contests on Steemit.

TIP: If you want to earn quickly look for those contests paying in Steem and which are close to the end date! You will be surprised how many there are hardly anyone joins! Take your chance, write, and connect with those you meet. You don't need to know anyone to start a talk, that is the power of Steemit.

How to improve your writing? Click the link #wewrite and follow the lessons and tips!

Why this post? Because you newbies have a Garden Angel willing to give you a hand! Don't be reluctant, don't hesitate to ask, and don't be stubborn if you notice you need another path to arrive at your destination.

Greeters - Newcomers community

Introduction

Is THIS you? if you feel that way no one will force you to share your entire private life.

ᑕOᗰᗰᑌᑎITIEᔕ ᗯᕼEᖇE YOᑌ ᗩᖇE ᗯEᒪᑕOᗰE

If you visit/join one of those communities per day you can post at least once per day!

ᒪOᑎEᒪY?

Read and comment and make a habit out of commenting. Write something personal and don't use AI-generated text. Unlike what you think it is noticed and you won't make friends no matter how long your comment is!
If you write a comment be prepared to answer the reply. Only if you bond with others you are noticed, Promoting yourself in a positive way, making friends is what you need if you join Steemit.

ᑕOᗰᗰEᑎT ᑕOᑎTEᔕTᔕ

There are several comment contests which you can join. If you post a comment make it look good and engage with the other participants. These are the places where you can chat and bond and share thoughts, exchange ideas and ask for help. Just a quick comment is not engaging.

Comment Contests: date 29.1.25
@wakeupkitty.pal - Monkey Business - weekly topic
@davidesimoncini - photochain - weekly (2 keywords)
@italygame #diginnasio (comment at the given topic or write a post)
@khursheedanwar - (weekly)
@adeljose - Talkchannel (weekly)
@xpilar - describe a photo/picture
@axeman - black and white photography
@tezzmax - scribbling lessons

ᗩᖇTIᔕT?

There is room to be creative and there is no need to type 550 -2500 words as an artist. It is important that you prove that what you show is made by you and please, add some text so those who visit you don't have to guess what you did, what you used and why you felt about doing this.

Artists: invest time in being noticed, comment and answer! Community Art & Aritsts

Good luck,
@wakeupkitty

I completely agree with what you've said!

The poem you shared is truly inspiring, very creative, and reflects the reality of Steemit. 👍

It's true that being a newbie on Steemit can feel overwhelming, as the platform is a vast ocean of posts.

Your advice to explore different communities is excellent.
I fully agree!
Finding the ones where you feel comfortable is crucial.

However, I think that even posting once a day can be sufficient if you dedicate time to interacting with members of the communities.
Building networks of friendships and mutual support is essential for growth on Steemit.
I keep saying this: going it alone on Steemit won't get you far.

Participating in community activities and contests, as you suggested, is a great way to connect with other users and receive curation on your posts.

Personally, I believe maintaining creativity and authenticity is key; avoiding spam and copied content helps keep the platform's quality high.

It's true, we're not all writers.
If you’re out of ideas, you can always write a daily diary; for those who enjoy sharing their day, it can be a great way to stay active on Steemit.
Only by doing so will you eventually see results, both in terms of reputation and wallet.

Kudos for addressing such an important topic—it's really valuable to guide new Steemit users.😉

The idea is 1 post per day and dedicate one day per week to one community only.

After some weeks or months you figured out where to be and write.

Thanks for stopping by, the idea/question/suggestion is all @dove11 his.
A great day?!

New users excel when they don't depend on others to develop a good activity, they just have to feed that desire to learn and excel in the environment. I remember that in my beginnings I traveled among experienced users to see what they were doing, the first thing I understood was that I had to use the tags to navigate to the content that interested me, then I walked through the contests. Although my posts did not go beyond $1 in rewards, I continued publishing and participating in CCC contests and there were others to create a story from an image. Little by little I gained experience, and I never lost the motivation to grow.

Here is how in real life, if you do not have a clear destination (an objective), then you will not know which path to take, and you will get lost, because you will be depending on others to guide you.

 8 days ago

You were in CCC too?
I wonder did you participate in the Comment Coin?

I believe most people do not have a clear destinations but it doesn't mean they all are lost. I would not compare real life with posting on Steemit. After all these years my average post still doesn't earn 1$

Why there are so many posts upvoted with 145$ although rarely active and with copy-paste content beats me (no they didn't delegate SP or even have much SP) but it makes one think. It's not motivating for a good writer/artist, more like a side job or hopefully some advertisement although it felt that that aspect worked better during the first years. If posts cannot be found they end up in a "wormhole".

Yes, I don't remember clearly, but I interacted in several dynamics of that community, I remember that one of them was being an informal moderator, commenting on posts, and recommending the one I thought was best, so that it would be supported by them.

There are different types of users who receive high rewards, there are some who are investors, they buy a large amount of Steem and put them to produce by giving themselves autovotes or delegating to receive votes in exchange. On the other hand, there are those users who buy votes in exchange for liquid Steem, these last ones must be followed up, to see if the content is not spam, and their transactions are only for farming.

The current Steemit is more considerate with creative and participative users, there is a greater possibility of receiving support than in the previous administration. Step by step the objectives are being achieved.

Thank you for the mention dear :)

Nice post 👏❤️ your words are adorable. The poem you wrote first I like it the most .
It is true that majority Steemians that join the steemit are unable to understand things . How to upvote how to post . We should be helpful for them ☺️
