RE: ᔕᑕᗷ & New Comers (update 29.1.25)
New users excel when they don't depend on others to develop a good activity, they just have to feed that desire to learn and excel in the environment. I remember that in my beginnings I traveled among experienced users to see what they were doing, the first thing I understood was that I had to use the tags to navigate to the content that interested me, then I walked through the contests. Although my posts did not go beyond $1 in rewards, I continued publishing and participating in CCC contests and there were others to create a story from an image. Little by little I gained experience, and I never lost the motivation to grow.
Here is how in real life, if you do not have a clear destination (an objective), then you will not know which path to take, and you will get lost, because you will be depending on others to guide you.
You were in CCC too?
I wonder did you participate in the Comment Coin?
I believe most people do not have a clear destinations but it doesn't mean they all are lost. I would not compare real life with posting on Steemit. After all these years my average post still doesn't earn 1$
Why there are so many posts upvoted with 145$ although rarely active and with copy-paste content beats me (no they didn't delegate SP or even have much SP) but it makes one think. It's not motivating for a good writer/artist, more like a side job or hopefully some advertisement although it felt that that aspect worked better during the first years. If posts cannot be found they end up in a "wormhole".
Yes, I don't remember clearly, but I interacted in several dynamics of that community, I remember that one of them was being an informal moderator, commenting on posts, and recommending the one I thought was best, so that it would be supported by them.
There are different types of users who receive high rewards, there are some who are investors, they buy a large amount of Steem and put them to produce by giving themselves autovotes or delegating to receive votes in exchange. On the other hand, there are those users who buy votes in exchange for liquid Steem, these last ones must be followed up, to see if the content is not spam, and their transactions are only for farming.
The current Steemit is more considerate with creative and participative users, there is a greater possibility of receiving support than in the previous administration. Step by step the objectives are being achieved.
