OG Anunoby Keeps Raptors Hopes Alive With A 3-Point Buzzer Beater.
NBA Action.
The NBA has all the actions going. Tonight's matchup between Boston Celtics vs. Toronto Raptors is the 5th consecutive playoff games decided on last seconds. This one is saving for last, a 3-point shot with just 0.5 seconds left on inbound.
It all started on the same series where Boston win when VanVleet missed a 3-pointer for the tie at the buzzer. Then Mike Conley's last attempt missing it as time expired as Denver wins over the Utah Jazz in Game 7. On Wednesday, Jimmy Butler hit a game-ending free throw in Miami's win over Milwaukee. Another nerve-wracking ending as Harden blocked the 3 point shot as Houston denied Oklahoma City on the last play of their Game 7 duel.
Half of a Second.
The game seems over as Kemba Walker made an incredible pass to Daniel Theis for a dunk with a half-second left. It could have been a 3-0 series and no team in the NBA has overcome such odds to win the series. Instead, the Toronto Raptors pulled up a miracle. With the win, Toronto has a new lease of life and could possibly keep them going to extend the series. The Boston Celtics still leads it but it could be another story if they are already on a 3-0 advantage.
Here is the sequence of the ending of the game:
