What's good, fellow diehard fans of Steemit?
So the 3rd week of season 5th of Steemit engagement challenge organized by the steem4nigeria community with the fun title " My diary game" got to me on this first day of a brand new week. I can't wait to share with you all how today's day went.

Morning part of the day

I missed the first early morning's bright, shining lights and cool blowing breeze outside that shone and blew on those who were already awake because I was still sleeping. I once read that the cool breeze makes one happier and also helps improve heart rate and blood pressure while the morning sunlight helps in maintaining the weight off, maintaining strong bones etc.

• Waking up

I woke up this morning at 7:38. I actually slept late last night.

Before sleeping, I scheduled my phone to power off at 1:30 and power on at 6:10, while my everyday alarm is set at exactly 6. It actually went as scheduled, I made a mistake by setting power on time after alarm but my phone didn't made any mistake. Now you know why a late sleeper like me was unable to wake up early without the help of an alert.

• Morning prayers at 8:00

My morning devotions were carried out differently today. Unlike other days when I do pray immediately after waking up right there in bed before moving to my reading table for Bible reading, I said just the Lord's prayer in bed and dashed out of the bedroom to the restroom where I had myself freshened up before reading from the Bible.

At least I read a Bible verse today too, precisely from the book of
Luke 11:10(NAB)

"For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened"

After reading the bible, I gave thanks to God for his assurance words through the scriptures then I was ready for the day, it was already quarter to 9

It was cloudy weather today. We experienced very bright sunlight today in my region, Bonny Island, Rivers State, South-South Nigeria What3words.

A sudden change of weather that we the local weather forecast didn't expect due to the fact that we're currently in a period of continuous rainfall and it's been happening as expected by everyone living in this island that experiences much rainfall during this time.

We maintained a temperature of 71°f | °c-76°f | °c at between 5-13% precipitation, 75-88% humidity, and 5-10mph of wind, respectively during the day.

Immediately after my morning devotion, I got hold of my phone and started going through yesterday's unread messages and notifications on my social media handles, including Steemit. After a few minutes on my phone, I decided it was time to eat.

I had pasta with fried plantains and chicken meat at 9 as my breakfast today. Wondered why I consumed such a heavy meal early in the morning?. Because I took less time to just warm it up compared to if I had been making a fresh breakfast. Though the pasta was 2 days old today in the refrigerator, it still maintained its taste and tasted yummy.

Going to the market for new weekly purchases.

At 11, I decided it was time to go get some things, which I term "household necessities" in the market. I prefer to make the weekly household purchases every Monday, with the hope of them lasting throughout the week. But today wasn't really a general purchase day for me since most of my household purchases from last week are still available, so I went to the market for some which aren't.

Going to the market early in the morning is much better, safer compared to other times of the day for many reasons, few of which are : avoiding heavy traffic and excessive accumulation of people.
On my way to the market, there were no traffic holdups, nor did the market become clouded with people upon getting there.

I bought just a fresh chicken for ₦5000 (local currency), which is equivalent to $11.35 and worth about 47 STEEM.
I later got back home a few minutes past 12 .

Afternoon part of the day

• Taking a shower

So I took a shower immediately after I returned from the market, and it felt good. I was not involved in any work today. It was actually a free day for me. I rather dedicated the day to surfing the Steemit platform instead.

• Visiting my brother

The time was 14:00 when I started feeling like taking a nap after surfing the web for hours. Just then, my phone rang. A brother of mine who lives not too far from me called, asking me to visit him at his place of work. I agreed. I got there at 14:28.

He's a professional welder. He welds anything weldable. In a nutshell, he's an expert. He does exactly what he's asked to do. He does what he knows best.
It was amazing to watch him work. I even had my lunch at his place.

I later got back home at 12:13 and decided it was the right time to at least take a nap so as to be able to stay active and energized in the evening for a better blogging experience.

Evening time of the day

I later woke up from my supposed nap that turned into deep sleep at 17:17, I felt a little bit bored due to the oversleep experience I had but I decided to clear it with a quickie shower .
I then sat down to write about my day. As of the time of writing this, it's 18:13 . I'm yet to have my dinner, hoping to do that as soon as I publish this post.

My overall feelings for today

It's another wonderful day. One positive impact this day has on me that worth mentioning is the normal weather experience, this alone lightened up my mood throughout the day even though there were no special events around my area today nor the funniest or saddest experience.
