I may have missed some things while translating, but one thing is for sure: I'm envious of your memory. It's too sharp for this maan here, but given that you were a teacher, you can definitely remember every sheep and lamb by their names. As many other commenters have pointed out, I would also say that this is a perfect fit for a book. Maybe "Love Story of the Year" or "The Shepherdess and Her Journey"...
P.S: Favourite picture of mine is of Max and Buttons. I think, Max can sense that Button is adopted by you!

Sorry for that - it's my writing style and it's gooood in German. I'm too lazy for good translations, even too lazy to correct simple ‘Google translations’ (which hardly anyone else who publishes ‘bilingually’ cares about).
If you see bold names in your translation programme, you now know all the names... :-))
Yes, I can remember them and I can also recognise all the sheep (even the white ones) by their faces. Yes, I argue with my husband every day because he can't do that... ;-D
I have written a nice story (from real daily life with real names with fictional content) and - yes, I can say this as a teacher of German - it is very good. I wrote it for a little longer. The writing programme was open and a paragraph was added every now and then. NOT a ‘what-do-I-write-today-daily-obligatory-article’... ;-)
Mäx is the best shepherd dog in the world! He may not herd the sheep, but he loves them. And they love him. Screw the sheepdog, let the shepherdess run herself... ;-)

My bad. I did saw the German name. This is the problem with translation, I forgot entirely and went with the translated version of the name.
Say sorry to Knöpfchen from my side. I wouldn't like it either if someone called me by the translated version of my name. No, nopes.

ButtonKnöpfchen, right. But I meant the whole text. It just doesn't sound round in the (automatic) English translation. And as I said, I'm too lazy to fine-tune it. The article has already cost me more time than some people invest in five SECs... ;-) Though - it was worth it, it was fun and the reactions are exactly what you want from an attentive audience. That's all I need... :-))Somehow they are cute, for sure. Cutest when they're sleeping peacefully... ;-D
