RE: Choice and Karma #Вибір та карма
My point is: we have a choice. Always. A free will. Even if this is questioned again and again: without free will, a real possibility of choice, I would not find my life meaningful. My choice may well be wrong once in a while. Disadvantageous. Incomprehensible. But it remains my choice. Sometimes I even consciously choose the supposedly wrong thing.
The consequences of a decision can and should be weighed up beforehand. In this respect, there is little room for karma for me.
Mein Punkt ist: wir haben eine Wahl. Immer. Einen freien Willen. Auch wenn das immer wieder in Frage gestellt wird: ohne einen freien Willen, eine echte Wahlmöglichkeit, würde ich mein Leben nicht als sinnvoll empfinden. Meine Wahl darf dabei durchaus einmal falsch sein. Nachteilig. Unverständlich. Aber es bleibt meine Wahl. Manchmal wähle ich sogar bewußt das vermeintlich Verkehrte aus.
Daß und welche Konsequenzen, Folgen, eine Entscheidung mit sich bringt, kann und sollte man vorher abwägen. Insofern bleibt da für mich wenig Raum für Karma.
Ihre Wahl liegt im Bereich Ihres Lebens, Ihrer Interessen, Ihrer inneren Bestrebungen. Indem wir eine Wahl treffen, erkennen wir unser Selbst, wenn wir die Richtigkeit der akzeptierten Wahl fühlen oder uns vorstellen. Es gibt immer einen Platz für Karma, auch wenn wir nicht darüber nachdenken, wir wissen es nicht einmal. Manchmal führt sogar Karma selbst zu dem Moment und dem Thema der Wahl), aber wenn wir eine Wahl treffen, denken wir nicht über Karma nach, wir erkennen unser Selbst

There is always a place for karma, even when we don’t think about it, we don’t even know it. Sometimes even karma itself leads to the moment and the subject of choice), but when making a choice, we do not think about karma, we realize our Self
