My diary game, weekend activities, how I made a short beautiful gown.

Greetings to all, I hope we are doing really great as I am fine too, I want to use this opportunity to tell everyone how I spend my weekend.
I’d like to start with Friday, it was a very busy but a happy day because we were all anticipating our sister's wedding in the person of @eliany, So everyone was into preparation so I decided to make a short gown for my cousin to use for the wedding.

I’d like to take a moment to explain how I started making the gown.
I used two yards of fabric for this short gown
Firstly, I cut the up from first, which I folded the matter into 2, then take the measurements
Waist 38÷4=9.5
Hips 46÷4=11.5
Knee was 9.5 ( from the waist measurement)
I used the same measurements to get the back, by placing the front cut and live out 1.5 inches for zip and the cut it out as seen in the picture.

Secondly, I cut the up front, since the gown was to be off shoulder, while normal shoulder was to be attached to it, I decided to off 7inches from the shoulder measurements, here is the measurements I took,
Shoulder 16÷2= 8
Burst 42÷4=10.5
Waist 38÷4=9.5
I then add 3inches to the burst and waist respectively, this serves as the sewing allowance and I will also calve the breast part out, as shown in the picture.

The same measurements was taken for the up back side, 1.5 zip allowance was added while I reduced the sewing allowance to 2inches.

Finally, I proceed to the coupling of the dress, and the dress came out beautiful.

SATURDAY
This day 18/9/2021 was a memorable and beautiful day, because our sister @eliany got married, we were all busy with preparing ourselves to look good for the wedding, so I made myself and my friend up, thereafter we proceed to the wedding venue.

The wedding ceremony was fun, after the couple received scriptural encouragement from the bible, it was picture time, which I took beautiful pictures as display below

The next thing was the couple dancing in, which lead to entertainment, here was my plate of fried rice.

The wedding was a beautiful one same as the couple was beautiful, I wish them happy married life, and also appreciate all the steemian who came to celebrate with us, we are indeed a family together in steemit.
