CONCURSO: FEBRERO EN BLANCO Y NEGRO

I wish everyone a peaceful sky above their heads and my photo work today with an emphasis on February in black and white sought to show the desire of any even a utopian world for at least some peace.

Yes, science fiction writers who wrote their novels about utopian worlds half a century ago probably could not even imagine in their dreams that in many ways what they described in their works, our real world will become similar to such a utopia and in some ways, even surpass their alarming forecasts and fantasies.

Probably in each utopia there is its own, special, strengthened many times utopia since in our era people must worry about the violation of their civil rights because someone unleashes wars, but at the same time calls himself a peacemaker.

This is all difficult to understand and I do not know which of the fantasy scenarios can surpass all this.

Based on these thoughts I began working on a photograph, or rather on photographs which ultimately had to put together a black and white photograph in a puzzle in which one could see the utpia and the symbol of peace.

I would call this photo work "Peace in the middle of utopia".

I must say that this February is special because it began with some progress in the peace negotiations between the warring parties and the photographs that participated in the work on the final picture were taken in February of different years using my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX300 camera and edited in the photo editor pixlr.com.

I took as a basis a photograph taken in the swamps.

In recent years winter has been bringing surprises and many plants, due to warm days began to sprout ahead of time, without waiting for spring.

To create a utopian atmosphere which implies some surrealism I decided to turn the photo upside down.

Not far from my house in the private sector there lives a man who breeds pedigree pigeons and passing by his house, you can often see beautiful birds basking in the sun sitting on a perch in front of the entrance to the dovecote and one of these depths has become a symbol of the desire for peace.

In the photo editor I worked on each photo and combined them by superimposing three layers and brought them to the state of a black and white photograph.
