In my first picture of this week's picture memories i will be discussing about how this picture remind me of the importance of one of our customs and tradition. This picture is so special to because of the incident that occurred and why people gathered here.

THE STORY BEHIND THE PICTURE...

On a fateful day one man was caught with somebody's wife (fornicating) and he giving the beaten of his life. (he can't forget in a hurry) So tradition demands that any man caught with somebody's wife must face the law of the land.

The law our land state that he should pay a goat, pay for drinks, with some amount of money and after he pay all this tradition demands that he will be escort out of the community as he will no longer be recognize as a member of that community.

The reason is he sleeps with his brother's wife can as well one day it kill his brother,so he will be banished from land. Although this did not happened in our community, as everyone in the above picture are all strangers here but every tradition taught is practice here despite the regional difference. Second picture is in loving memory of my late cousin brother who was murdered, and till today the mystery behind his death is still unknown to all.

He was serving a man in awka anambra State capital. So around June this year we receive a call that this our brother is missing for about four days now and I ask whether he tell anybody about his whereabout? and they said no. All they remember was that he went to go and buy something since then no one knows about his whereabout again.

So we've been searching for him but to no avail, till on the sixth day before we find his dead body at the river bank. His private parts removed,his eyes plugged, that's how we lost a fine boy to dead.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace till we part no more. let me save it on steemit. Third most cherished picture was taken in a construction site where we were firstly registered as full time members/workers. This day will always be remembered because it was on this day i start my journey of becoming a mason (brick layer), it was on this same day i discovered a talent, it was on this same day that i discovered many things i know today as a worker. With me in the picture are Chibuzo, Ikechukwu, Emmanuel, Izunna, and Lotana.
