Introduction

Good day to all steemians. How are you all doing? I hope you're good. I'm really excited to participate in this contest. I also want to thank @steemkidss for organizing this contest. Having read other entries, I've learnt a lot about different recipes from people in other countries. I tried the sweet-bitterleaf by @okere-blessing and I loved it. I hope others too will learn from my post. I love food and anything about it excited me.lol.
Today I'll be writing on my native food.
Boiled Cassava and Tomato Stew

~Ingredients needed
√Cassava
~For tomato stew
√Fresh tomato or Tomato paste
√Pepper
√Onions
√Seasoning cubes
√Salt
√Meat or fish
√Groundnut oil
~Preparation
•Boiled Cassava
Peel Cassava and wash. Cut into bits and boil. Add salt to taste. When the cassava is soft, dish into plates.

Preparation

•Tomato stew
Pour the vegetable oil into a dry hpot and heat. Add onions and tomato. Stir till the tomato is dry. Add the meat stock, seasoning cubes, salt to taste, spices and meat. Cover to boil. Cook for about 10 minutes. Dish into plates.

For lunch I had "Fufu and Abak soup"
Ingredients needed for Fufu preparation

√Grinded cassava
√Water
Preparation

Mix grinded cassava in little water to form a thick paste. Pour into a pot and place on a fire. Stir continuously to avoid burning. When it is solid, then it's ready.
Ingredients for Abak Soup

√Palm fruits
√Seasoning cubes
√Salt
√Meat or fish
√Crayfish
√Atama leaves
√Perewinkle
√Pepper
Preparation

Boil palm fruits and pond till the oil is out. Wash the shaft with hot water to bring out more oil. Sieve and pour into a clean pot. Put the pot on fire. Add perewinkle, pepper, seasoning cubes, meat, crayfish, salt. Allow to boil. Add atama leaves and cook for about 5minutes. The Abak soup is ready to be served

This contest has made me learn a lot about the way of cooking in other countries, what I see in common is that we all use chicken broth cubes for the soup, I liked the ground yucca, it must have a delicious flavor, greetings.
