I wish to extend greetings to our lovely kids and kids lovers in this community, it is my pleasure to participate in this wonderful contest, I want to really appreciate @steemkidss and everyone working hard to keep this community going and for always bringing out good and well thought out contest like this one, which aims at improving our life and relationship with others, infact through this word definition contest I have been reminded of this beautiful qualities like love and now compassion, let me also speak on what compassion mean to me.

WHAT IS COMPASSION

Compassion is sympathetic feeling Or emotion We have for someone who is suffering or in distress and then being moved by the desire to help out. Simply put compassion has to do with helping those in need, and this help does not only involve financial assistance, it can also include offering useful advice, forgiving others, offering Spiritual and emotional help.
To make compassion realistic think about a child who lost he’s so her bold parents that is an orphan and as a result ends up living with a family relative and then the relative Maltreats the child starving him of food, clothing, Good education and morals support, at this point whatever you feel within you is compassion and then you started thinking of ways to help out maybe give the child food, cloth or moral support you are practicing compassion.

WHO CAN SHOW IT AND WHY

As long as the world we are living is concern everyone including me needs to show this quality of compassion.

WHY?

The reason you should all show compassion is because FIRST we are beneficiaries of God’s compassion that is why we are still alive today.
Secondly The world condition has deteriorates to the point that those who initially take good care of themselves and their families comfortably are now struggling to do so, and those that were struggling to take care of themselves are really suffering.
Thirdly People in the world generally are exposed to many sad situations like, sexual abuse, rape, domestic violence, death of love ones, severe hunger and so on, all this victims need to be shown compassion.

HAVE I EVER SHOWN SOMEONE COMPASSION,HOW DID I DO THAT AND HOW DID THE PERSON FEEL?

Yes I have shown someone compassion on many occasions and I will never stop showing compassion because as long as God has not given up on showing me compassion I’m always motivated to do same.
I have show compassion so a child in my compound who is experiencing harsh treatment from relative he's staying with because he's an orphan this I always do by giving him food clothes and offering practical advice on how he can live to avoid provoking the Aunt.
I was able offered emotional and physical support to my friend who underwent physical abuse in her Marital home.

HOW THEY FELT?

They both feels very happy and relief and they trust me the more.

HAS ANYONE SHOWN ME COMPASSION BEFORE,AND HOW DID I FEEL WHEN IT WAS SHOWN TO YOU?

Yes I Being shown compassion from many persons but the greatest of all is God and I will forever remain grateful to him.
I was also shown compassion when I stayed with my aunts who often maltreat me, a lovely family always comes to my rescue by providing me with food, clothes and practical advice which helps me to stay happy, I was able to fights against my feelings of worthlessness I felt loved.

EXPRESS YOUR COMPASSION TO SOMEONE IN A PRACTICAL WAY

This is me giving food to a child who’s aunt refuse to give food.

he was happy to be shown compassion in a practical way.

IS COMPASSION IS A VIRTUE THAT I AND ALL OF US SHOULD CULTIVATE?

Yes, compassion is a virtue, because it is a good moral conduct, an admirable quality, an excellent quality that should be cultivate by all.

HOW DID YOU LEARN TO SHOW COMPASSION?

I Learn compassion through my dad who not only taught me from the Bible but also by example, he displayed compassion to everyone that is in need, and as a result I grow up to believe that compassion is indeed a virtue.
As I grew up I also learned from the bible how Jesus showed compassion to the crowd who were thrown about like a sheep without a shepherd, giving them food and practical advice, I was motivated to cultivate and display this quality.
Finally I learned compassion from those who showed me compassion, it will always be my responsibility to show compassion.

HOW WILL THE WORLD BE LIKE IF I AND ALL OF US CULTIVATES COMPASSION

The world will be a perfect place because, no one will wish anyone to suffer or cause suffering to others rather, all will always look for opportunities to help, everyone will enjoy and be happy to stay, but I am convinced that there will come a world fill with compassion.

CONCLUSION

Compassion is a virtue, I encourage all to cultivate and display this quality, we will never regret it because there is a greater happiness in extending a helping hand to others than receiving, cultivate compassion for it is a virtue.
