INTRODUCTION

Colour is the appearance of something as a result of the way it reflects. Colours play an important role in the life of man. A colour can change the mood and reduce anxiety of a person. It can also give meaning to an object.

There are 3 types of primary colour which are: Red, Blue and blue.
From this 3 colours, other colours are formed. Examples of some of these colours are:

• Green: This is a mixture of blue and yellow
• Purple: This is a mixture of red and blue
• Orange: This is a mixture of red and orange
• White: A combination of all the colours in a spectrum.

Other colours include: violet, indigo, black, cyan, brown etc.

I will be writing on my 3 favourite colours out of the above colours.

1. Red Colour

A hibiscus flower is red in colour. It is mainly used for exterior and interior decoration. Its leaves could also be used for medicinal use and food. The beauty that comes with the hibiscus flower is as a result of the colour red ; red colour is mostly known to signify life, love and courage. The beauty that comes with red is second to none, it is exquisite and heart warming. Red colour is a primary colour which is used to make a variety of colours. This colour is the basis when it comes to other colours, that is why its importance is really stressed. The hibiscus flower possesses the beauty and characteristics of the colour red, reasons why red is my favourite colour.

2. Pink Colour

The rays of sunlight on this flower, makes the pink colour look more dazzling. My next favourite colour is pink. Though people take it more like a feminine colour. But my mom made me love this colour while growing up; she bought a lot of my clothes and shoes in this colour. Pink is a shade of red, it is gotten from a mixture of red and white. It represents love and also friendship. I love pink flowers because it reminds me to love myself and others. The pink colour is a very beautiful and lovely, a reason why it is mostly referred to as the feminine colour.

3. Yellow Colour

Yellow colour is a primary colour. It represents happiness and optimism. This is one of my favourite colour because of the message it sends out, 'optimism'. Yellow flowers like the sun flower sends this special message to us when we look at it. It beams joy and happiness just like the sun.

These are my best favourite colours. When sending out flowers to your love ones, do well to send flowers with these colours;

Red to signify love and life
Pink to signify love and friendship
Yellow to signify happiness and hope.
