One fine late morning, I and my eldest daughter visited my mother and sister. Today is a holiday in the Philippines as we commemorate the Philippine Independence Day. My sister don't have a work today's holiday so we visited them in their house.

My sister likes my daughter much and sometimes she requested me to bring her in their house. But today, we have uninformed visitation to them. While we are staying in their house and the clock strikes at 11:00 in the morning, she offered to treat us for lunch before going home.

TINOLAHAN AND LARANGAN

This is where we took our lunch today. It is a restaurant on the side street. Tinolahan and Larangan is a combination of favorite meal of the natives which is fish soup and meat viands.

Actually this is a community church during Sundays and a restaurant during weekdays. The place is very accessible and I have observe that most of their customers are with cars.

This is what I saw when I was on the entrance. The place is clean and convenient for the customers. There are still tables available because it's not yet official lunch time.

This is our place with them. I believe my mother had a hard time eating because my daughter needs assistance when eating. My daughter Ezra is close to her grandma that is why she wants to sit beside my mother. I like the food my sister ordered;

• tinolang isda
• fried meat with spices
• pork lumpia

I can't ask her about the bills because she paid for it. I believe it's not so expensive because we brought rice on our own.

Actually, I am a rice-eater, so whatever viand is, I will make myself full. I wasn't able to take pictures on the food because I was a bit hungry and forget to take some food photos.

There are some foods left, I asked my sister if I can bring home leftover and she allowed me. After we eat, we went home directly with Ezra because my husband is waiting at home with our youngest, Psalm.

My daughter cried when we ride in the tricycle because she will miss her grandma and aunt. She thought they will be coming with us but as soon as the tricycle move, she cried without them inside the tricycle.

We went home safe and Ezra slept while traveling.
