Dairy game||24-05-2024|| VISITING MY COOPERATE SCHOOL FOR TEACHING PRACTICE AND TRAVELING HOME
Dear diary,
I had a very hectic but fun-filled day. I actually envisaged my day to be one of less activities and a little bit of rest but no, it didn't go as I had imagined. In-between I felt tired but of course, I had to be strong and make sure I get to the end of the day without any kind of regrets.
Remember I had told you about the Teaching Practice Programme, I attended an orientation for, we started the programme in earnest this week. I was sent to a school that is about 20km from my house in Uyo LGA. A very heartbreaking situation,I must say!

It is safe to say, I woke up on the wrong side of my bed because I woke up feeling tired and having body pains. To make matters worse, I woke up at 5:10am and that was quite late as I needed to meet up with the bus taking me to the school's destination, by 6:00pm. I got up had a short prayer time , went to fetch water since I was out of it, had my bath, warmed the leftover food, dressed up and headed to the bus stop. I got to the bus stop at 6:15am. Luckily for me, the bus had just arrived the bus stop and I was able to get a space to sit. Going late entails standing in the bus.
I got to school at 7:45pm and I was glad I didn't go late. Above,are images of the school's signpost where the school name and address are inscribed, the school gate which is connected to the security post,the walkway to the classroom blocks, classroom block and I had to sit outside the Chemistry laboratory waiting for my subject teacher. Of course, I am a Chemistry major potential teacher.
It was in the afternoon I was told by my subject teacher that the students had to practice match past for the Children's day holding on Monday, 27th May. I had to join them in doing the rehearsals and helped in the little way I could which was correcting them where they got their moves wrong. They did their best and I was so thrilled because the girls' played the drums so well. Oh! I forgot to mention dear dairy, the school is a girls' school in Ikot Ekpene LGA.
I left the school a bit early in the afternoon since I didn't have a class that day and I needed to arrange the things I was to go with home. I was able to find a cab as soon as I stepped out of the school compound. I was so tired and hungry!

I got to my house and packed up the things I was to go with. I got to the park at 4:00pm and had to wait for the car to get filled before it could commence the journey. I took to getting snacks since I was so hungry and prayed for more passengers to come so we could leave.

We left the park at 5:30pm after the car got filled. The journey was uneventful as I was compressed inside the car (travails of a passenger). I got home at 7:45pm . Sincerely, I was so tired. I just had to crash into bed after eating and taking my shower.

What is my eye seeing, is it ikot ekpene?, That place is too far and it will cost so much, anyways that's actually God's plan for you. I would have accepted to be in my place of primary assignment if not that the proprietress who claim to be a lecturer in the college of education afaha nsit didn't consider us, as a group leader understanding the plight of my fellows the 200l student who will be combining Tp, Gst IT and lecturess, I had to report the school to the Tp coordinator and fortunately we were all changed and unfortunately that school is out of TP list, I feel bad for them sha but they should have considered us and given my sheeps individual days to go for their IT , private schools is full of wahala, I see you weren't sent to one of it's kind, your day was so stressfull, I could imagine, I know the best will be going out from you to those future leaders.
