Contest: My Pictures, My Memories| My picture Album Are Safe With Steem
Hello great steemians, I am excited to partake in this weekly challenge contest organised by @ngoenyi and with the support of the community. Pictures are great ways to save memories and moments of the past and future, below are my memories in pictures.
Dreams Coming Alive |

The first picture talks alot about pain, struggle, hardwork, happiness and joy. Before continuing my education in the senior secondary I thought it wouldn't be possible for me to graduate with my mates because everything concerning my school wants was totally insufficient. My parents were struggling to push me through, I felt left out in school acitivies and lessons but I didn't stop pushing to my greatness.
I wrote my WAEC with good grades though I wasn't allowed to write all the papers because of tution fees. In all I graduated with my mates joyfully and pushed further into higher institution intending to study banking and finance. I was admitted into the university of Uyo to study the course which made me feel honoured after the long struggle and storm . My mom being my backbone fought so hard still fighting to see me be the best in all I do, that alone gives me flashbacks when I come across this very photo. Thanks to my brother who took me the picture ❣️
Mom knows Best |

The second picture shows what it takes to be an African mom, Early this year in Nigeria we had an issue which affected us as a whole which was the money swap policy. People who worked so well for their money found it so hard to purchase good food with the money they all worked for, The Government enacted a policy that the old currency shouldn't not be recognised as a medium of exchange that alone increase the rate of corruption, people bought money to hoard them at high prices making it hard for human survival. My mom didn't just sit and watch us stay hungry, she worked so hard to see we eat even twice a day. The picture above shows how she was processing garri at the final stage, we really benefited from it😁
The pictures defines alot to me as a youth, that in all there's a way when the seems to be no one. I took her the pictures because it was and still lovely of her❣️
Our culture Our Heritage |

The very last picture talks alot about African lifestyle and how it keeps getting into thin air. There are many lifestyle that are forefathers lived which was actually beneficial to thier social life and health. In today's world people no longer have vital communication amongst themselves, they invest most of thier time fondling thier phones. The western life is helping but our African lifestyle shouldn't be abolished or left into thin air because those lifestyle made us who we are, strong, brave courageous and wise. Brothers no longer stand strong for one another, so the picture was to pass a message to the public telling them about our forgotten heritage and lifestyle. That's my sister in the picture portraying an African girl child lifestyle ❣️
The contest is one the best for now, because it takes me back to how far have come to this very point and what brought me this far❣️..Thank you for bringing up this very contest topic

The picture of your mother friending gary stand as a very big memory especially when you grow up.
I think showing to your children will be more fun.
Well understood pictures and very touching. Knowing how mom is struggling to see you through in University, may you bring Joy and honor to her in return
Your entry is wonderful. It kept my eyes glued to the stories behind the pictures. They are heart touching. Your graduation from high school, your mum processing garri manually and your sister portraying the African culture. These pictures are truly worth saving. Your entry is noted
