RE: STEEMIT ENGAGEMENT CHALLENGE S1/W2 - FAVORITE FESTIVAL: EID-AL-ADHA

in STEEMIT PAKISTAN2 years ago

The Eid-al-Adha festival is so colourful and I believe that with the pictures shown in your article that the event will be interesting.
From the below paragraph;

Ojude Oba is all about paying homage and showing respect to the Royal Majesty, the Awujale of Ijebuland. It is one of the most spiritual and fascinating festivals celebrated in Ijebuland and Ogun State in general.

Do the crowd pay homage to the Royal Majesty or few selected personalities from the village go to represent?

Thank you for sharing your county's culture, it was amazing reading through.

Yeah, it can get really colourful.
They are different groups (members are always age mates) who officially pay homage to the Royal majesty. In general, anybody can attend the festival but not everybody gets to directly pay homage to the Royal majesty except this groups.

Thanks for reviewing, really appreciate.

Okay, I understand now.
Thank you and steem on🤗
