RE: HOW TO DRAW WITH SCRIBBLES! (FOR BEGINNERS).

in Knack4buzzlast month (edited)

Imagine... I am new. How to find the spotlights and the shadow? Also, what are those scribble lines you make?
Are these all strokes?
Circles?
Are you drawing 8s?

@genoar @sbamsoneu @rashid001 @jiya99 can you draw a circle and scribble a bit and share how you did it?

♥️ I love art!

How can I not give an upvote. 🍀

Your inquiries are spot on, and finding the answers will greatly enhance understanding it for every art lover. Since this technique is unfamiliar to me, I'm eager to explore it. Having previously attempted drawing a circle with a pencil, I'm now curious about the outcome using this innovative method.

The technique might be unfamiliar to you but you are an artist and know how to draw. Wouldn't it be great to see entries of non artists, hobbyists or lay?

If I do answer these questions like you might what me to, then I'll be boxing the idea of scribbling which I don't like to do.

Scribble doesn't have a specific way or pattern to its line movements, it's just about the artist's freedom even while conscious of the subject or object being drawn.

You line movements could be in circles while that of another artist could be in zigzag but the beauty of it lies in the freedom and the synergy within the lines.

Finding a spotlight isn't difficult at all. Imagine having a table tennis egg on a table and having a strong spotlight directly to it. That part of the egg that the light illuminates so much to the point that it loses it initial colour is your spotlight area.

How about explaining that in your post?

Don't you think that is important to know for those who never held a pencil before except on kindergarten where no one taught or ever explained? It is great you do and canvand since you draw since years you will be surrounded by those with the same interest or skills but that doesn't count for the average person. There's a huge difference between doing and explaining/showing in easy to understand steps.
Do you remember the videos I showed to @sbamsoneu and what his answer was?

It sounds to me the first step is to find your personal scribble and even that (pen, pencil, brush), how to hold it comes with a certain technique and practising and the next step is drawing a ball and next spotlight and shadow.

Thanks for taking the time to explain.

I understand you so well but I would prefer we leave art to be art. There are no mistakes, just more suggestions after we must have seen people's attempts.
