There are many different paranormal phenomenon around us, some of us believe and love that thrill because that gives us adrenaline rush but also it makes us to believe that there is something more than normal just next to us. Is that the longing feeling of every of us to wish that we are not alone and there is mystical, magic something that exists and we might come across on some stage of our life.
For me Witches are creatures that more likely exist, you may ask why I think so. My reasoning behind that are:
from the historic materials we know that Witches always was told to be knowledgeable in the field of herbs and treatment using them fever, wound infection and wound healing
they also knew exactly what herb was poisonous that is why were considered to be dangerous if anyone make them angry
I believe because of the secret of herbal medicine they were healthy and could look very young despite of being old
Because of all that church announce "witch hunting" so that church still remain the place where people will come and believe in the Power of God and not of the witches.
For a long time we used to think that all the witches are bad, they can influence people to do what they want. They would be taking the living energy of people to feed their own energy. Also we all thought that those creatures kill people.
There are many movies about that fight, one of my favourite is "Van Helsing" where such witches were chased, because they were bad.
Of course, for one of the Halloween I did my painting using a scene from the movie.
When I think about recent years, the opinion about witches now completely changed thank "Harry Potter" books and movies, those stories tell about the witches who live next to us, they have their school, their rules, they are respected and knowledgeable and they are great! I am glad that we have completely changed our opinion today. In my opinion, it is good to believe in magic and to respect such magic ability that the witches in that great movie "Harry Potter" have.

You shared that witches have powers to heal and also use herbs so we'll, you rightly pointed that there are good and bad witches which is actually true. I'm glad you used practical movies to share your thoughts. Success in the challenge, such an inspiration drawn from your article.
Thank you, I was always fascinated with the history of mankind and also such phenomenon like witches, on one hand we were a jealous as wanted to be like them too. At least to study old traditional medicine can help to be more a less closer to them :)

you give a different view of witches. Usually witches have black magic to harm people. But in your review you explained that witches have knowledge and advantages in herbs so they can understand many things about medicine. With that they can make good use of it or vice versa. I was amazed by your painting at first I thought it was a photo. This painting has me able to feel the expression contained in the photo.
Yes, I think in the past we all were scared about witches but slowly the time and views changes, maybe it is also something that when we fear we also tempted to learn more about it and that is why there are many who are intrigued and even though we might know that it is dangerous we want to lean more.
Over here, we call those witches that work with herbs, “native doctors” but they call themselves the “mouthpiece of the gods.” Always looking so scary with white stuff all over their body and mystical powers they use to threaten people.
Thank God for religious practices that have drove them into extinction.
Yes, maybe they had to look scary so that people respect them.

I love the paintings you added but somehow it saddens me since it keeps the bad name alive churches started with their witch hunt. I don't think Harry Potter changed anything to this opinion but it might depend on where you live. Same if it comes to like and dislike, nature, reiki, use of herbs. You gave me something to think about. 👍
It was quite hard time in the past and so many powerful people used that argument to get rid of people who they did not like. I am glad that today it is more relaxed and many very acceptable for such phenomenon.
Today we have those anonymous lines people can call to get rid of... CP, Animal Care, The police, Tax, therorist, illegal, incest, rape, plenty of ways to start a witch hunt.

The main reason why you spoke so well about witches is that even in our area where I live, there are witches who hover over our heads with ghostly shadows, often at night. When we are asleep, it moves from side to side around the bed. When we wake up, nothing can be seen in front of us. This means that it is a creature that does not see us, but we can feel it. They are and always try to scare us as you mentioned and you mentioned about the church that people also understand the power of God. No doubt you have made a great post. Hope Here will be my success
I love to believe in fairy tales and mystery and that is why once a year, it looks like that time when all the borders swept off. But unfortunately there is no magic happens :)

Belief in witches, for example, was often fueled by their knowledge of herbs that were considered magical or dangerous.
