Photo Story Diary - Three Spins for Good Luck
Today, I captured a tourist attempting the famous good luck ritual in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, a tradition believed to bring fortune by spinning three times on the bull mosaic.
Thanks for reading @ibesso
I took the photos with my phone.

Note to the post
Today, while walking through the center of my city, I remembered a curious tradition that I thought might be interesting to share with you. I took some photos of a tourist who, like many before him, decided to try the famous good luck ritual in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan.
With a serious and focused expression, the tourist placed his heel on the genitals of the bull depicted in the mosaic on the floor and began to spin three times on his own axis. This gesture, which celebrates the unity of Italy represented by the emblem of Turin, has become a ritual to attract good fortune.
I’ve seen many people try this ritual over the years, and I’ve done it myself many times. Today, I invite you to try it too, wherever you are right now! Lift the tip of your foot and spin on the heel of the leg on which you have the most balance. Make three spins, make a wish, and like this post to seal your good fortune!
Who knows? Maybe this little gesture will actually bring you some luck. Give it a try and have fun following this charming tradition, wherever you are. And if you’re in Milan, even better—let me know, and we can do it together!
👋🌈
What if those people fall down and break something? Is the city responsible? A strange tradition but a funny one.
For now, the only damage is to the bull’s testicles, 😅 which the city has already had to restore several times.
I’m glad you found it funny, thank you!
👋🌈
How to restaurate the bull's private parts? Is the idea to succeed swirl around on the poor beasts testicles to be allowed to make a wish. Buying a cake, blowing the candles and making a wish is faster. Poor bulls I thought only in Spain they made bulls cry.
Take token of appreciation to me....
"I'm so glad, @irawandedy. Thank you very much!"
👋🌈
Is there a shield that says to spin 3 times? How do those people know? Not many seem to care about those guys trying. What they wish for? The kid with the cap tries too? Cool shots!
It’s interesting what you see in the photos: there are no written instructions on what to do, but people are curious. At first, they seem indifferent, but then they approach and ask for information from those who do it. The poor bull is showing signs of wear, and the mosaic has been damaged where the heel is placed. It’s a phenomenon that amuses and intrigues, a “viral” in the old-fashioned way, as we would say today on social media. The child wanted to try it too, but the parents didn’t allow it—I’m not quite sure why. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain better!

It is 6-8. Photos and a minimum of text. The photos should tell the story.
♥️🍀
Thank you for the clarification! I've added more photos to complete the story and reduced the text, moving the more detailed description to the comments to better comply with the rules. I hope the post is now more in line with the guidelines. Thanks again for the advice!
👋🌈
Please, check the rules.
You share great photos but should add at least one more to build a story. The text is not relevant. See if you can use a divider or? The story is interesting.
Good luck.
Thank you for the feedback and the compliments on the photos. I have added two more photos to enrich the story, showing my arrival and the different people trying their luck in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. I also moved the longer text to the comments to keep it out of the main body of the post, in order to better adhere to the rules. I hope these changes are acceptable. Thank you again for your support and suggestions!

I wonder to whom you are talking. 🤔 Now you have two bots commenting on your entries. 😎
I will keep it short: 👍🩸🐈⬛
I don't understand anything anymore🤣
You have @ Upex, you have @ xpilar-witness... (it is a good thing I threw away your Alexa)... so while you pretend you don't understand anything I ask you: When will you talk to me?
Wait.. I'll ask google free to translate it in bad Italian to make it easier for you to understand. By the way my hands hurt I ate a bit marzipan and I wonder what you did today. I know it's off topic but it feels as if the only long comments are where I am. I always bump into myself I just wear a different had. It's a good think I have a split mind.
Hai @ Upex, hai @ xpilar-witness...
