SEC17|W3| Experience comes with age or circumstances

        INTRODUCTION

I welcome all the steemit family into this new week, with this interesting challenge topic "Experience comes with age or circumstances", organized by @meraindia. I really believe i will learn from others and others will also learn from me.
Moving forward to discussion of the day.

How do you define maturity

Maturity is in the mind. When you are in a state of having self awareness, and being able to process your feelings, manage conflicts, stress and responsibilities in a manner that won't be unhealthy to another is what i termed maturity. It means you are mentally and emotionally well developed to take responsibilities. Maturity swings between age, gender, and the environment.

Maturity comes in four levels

•Physical Maturity: This is not about aging, it is about paying attention to the physical body because as you age, your body tends to go down slowly.

•Emotional Maturity: Being able to be responsible to your feelings and situations that surrounds you, and your behavior still remain appropriate.

•Mental Maturity: Ability to differentiate right from wrongs, and the courage to admit your wrongs, apologize and also correct it.

•Spiritual Maturity: Having the knowledge that nothing last forever, so you have to always embrace change.

What do you believe experiences come with age or circumstances? Define.

I believe that experiences comes with circumstances and not age. So many people just age, and don't mature. As you age, it comes with changes and experiences. You begin to handle responsibilities.

Experience they say is the best teacher. If something does not happen to you as you age, you would not know the ways and how to express it to another, and how you got to solve the problem. It is only circumstances that will make you learn the hard way, and have the experience so that you can know what to advise another.

There was a time i was working and going to school. I really concentrated on the job than school. I will just dive into school when there's a test to write. I will not attend class, i will only get some materials i was not even reading. In my first year, i offered eight (8) courses. I had the money to sort whatever course i feel i would sort, so i was not bothered reading at all except few courses. Sorting was actually the orientation i got from friends and colleagues, advising me that i can use money and sort courses and pass without stress. Not knowing that they want to get the money to solve their own problem.

I gave out money to sort courses i was not writing very well. When the first semester result was published, ladies and gentlemen see failure written in bold letter (F) in five courses. I cried my eyes out😭, there was no solution. The only solution was to carryover the courses and write again.

At this point, no one told me to stop working and concentrate in school. I learnt my lesson that, there are things you can't use money to get. When i came back to school fully, was when i discovered that the guy i gave money to sort the course didn't do anything because the lecturer in charge of those courses could not be sorted. They don't joke with their integrity.

Now what made all this thing happened, Circumstances. I lost my father when i just got admission. The load was too much on my mother, so i decided to push myself through in the university. That's how everything turned out to be. But i thank God that i have a story to tell my children. I will strive hard to make sure my children does not go through what i went through in school.

Do you believe older people can also learn so many things from youth? Justify

The same way the youth listen to the advice from the older people, i believe the older people can also learn from youths. There's this Proverbs that says, what an elder sees while sitting down, even if the younger ones climb the highest mountain, they will not see it. Meaning that the advice of an elderly person comes from their experiences in life. So the younger ones should never ignore it.

We are in the 21st century where innovations are top notch, companies, government establishment are embracing the computerize era. It's the younger generations that are really have experiences on these innovations. The older ones needs to learn from them so that they will also fit into todays era.

I have an Aunty that i have been persuading to get an Android phone so that she can see what is going on in the world. She refused to heed to my advice. Not too long she went for an examination for the Job she applied for as a nurse.

According to her, they asked everyone to bring out their phone that the questions will be shared through their WhatsApp and they will log in using Google to write the test. My people, my aunty did not write the test because she had no android phone. She came straight from that venue to my office to get an android phone. She was lamenting that she would had listened to me when i adviced her of getting an android phone She was lucky to be given an opportunity to bring android phone and write her own another day.

In summary, it is circumstances or situations that made experiences happen. If you don't face it, you won't know how to handle it. Good experiences and bad experiences happens to everyone. Ability to handle it without hurting someone else makes you that matured person.
