Steemit Engagement Challenge-s7/w5|My Way to Stay Balanced During the Time of Stress.
Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog as I present my entry post to season 7 week 5 of the engagement challenge in the Incredible India community. The topic for discussion this week is mental health (stress).

This is a great topic for discussion as many around the world suffer from stress as a result of busy schedules. We struggle each day to make ends meet and this requires lots of pressure from either our bosses, colleagues, friends or family members. This pushes one to work so hard that you end up suffering from mental disorders caused by stress.
To further emphasize the topic, I will be addressing the following guiding questions raised on the topic.
What do you do to stay balanced in times of stress?
There are several things I do when I feel stressed out. They include: watching comedies, playing games, talking to a friend and listening and dancing to gospel music.
Watching a comedy with my son after a stressful day at work.
Watch Comedies: This is the first thing I do when I am feeling stressed. I watch some comedies which help to distract my mind from overthinking. I laughed out and this helps to relax my nerves and kind of calmed me down.
Play Games: Another way to make me stay balanced when stressed out is playing games either alone or with my kids. It’s fun playing the games with my kids.
Listening to some favourite gospel music that uplifted my soul and made me smile.
Listen and Dance to Gospel Music: In life I always find pleasure in listening and dancing to gospel music. It has a way of uplifting my spirit and assuring me that nothing is impossible for me to do in life unless I decided to be so.
Having a chat with a friend after stressful day at work.
Talk to a friend: I always believed in the saying that “a problem shared, is a problem solved. Whenever I find myself in such situations, I talk to someone willing to give me a listening ear and also show concern about helping me out. A solution to your problem might just be around you from a friend but unless you speak out, no one is a magician to help you out.
Give three main reasons behind our stress.
There are several reasons accounting for people being stressed out. However, the reasons vary from one person to another base on the environment we found ourselves. For me the three main reasons behind my stress build-up are as follows:
Pressure from Work: I use to think that people switched to new jobs because of money until when I realised that people switched from one job to another in search of where they feel honoured and respected. Mental health is vital to make you stay healthy. When in a work environment where each time they seat they discuss other people and not ideas and at the end of the month nothing to deliver. A toxic boss will turn the workplace into a gossip centre and at the end of the month insult employees for not doing the right thing and forget that he or she is the cause of no work done.
Poor sleeping plan: Sleep is vital for our mental growth. The moment I do not have adequate rest, I feel stressed. You cannot deceive nature and think you can resist sleep. The moment I resist sleep, I am sure to suffer from stress for the next two days until I sleep well to cover up the lost days. The reason why I hate night journeys and night hangouts is that I will faced the consequences of not having adequate sleep.
Pressure from Family: Trying hard to please every family member is one of the main reasons behind our stress. We forget to know that you can never please every family member. No matter how hard you try, it will only give some family members reasons to criticise your efforts.
Do you think now we should take this problem seriously? If so, then describe why?
Stress has negative consequences on our health. It can lead to headaches which if not well managed can be developed into brain turmoil. It causes some individuals to lose weight or lost their appetite, develop high blood pressure, etc.
Therefore, if you are feeling stressed, take out some time to relax with friends, and see a counsellor because it might end up causing serious problems to your health.
Conclusion.
In sum, the three main reasons behind our stress are; pressure from work, pressure from family members and poor sleeping plans. My way of managing stress to stay balanced is by watching comedies, listening and dancing to gospel music, talking to a friend willing to listen and playing games with my kids. Managing our stress is important so we do not develop some illnesses like high blood pressure, and constant headaches which might result in brain damage. Hola amiga, has dado tres grandes razones por las cuales nos ataca el stress, como un ambiente de trabajo tóxico, donde siempre fluyan problemas, tener malos hábitos para dormir que no permitan que nuestro cerebro descanse el tiempo necesario, y la presión familiar, muchas veces queremos ayudar a nuestros familiares con sus problemas aun sabiendo que se escapa de nuestras manos, estos problemas nos acarrean mucho stress a nosotros al no encontrar la forma de ayudarlos, por eso es muy importante atacar esas tres razones que mencionastes antes, para poder controlar el stress
Absolutely @roselena, tackling these three reasons I think will help reduce stress in our lives.

Hola amiga, la presión de trabajo es uno de los motivos principales del estrés de las personas. Pero como dices debemos tratar de manejar el estrés de la mejor forma posible para que eso no perjudique nuestra salud.

You mentioned to us that there are many things you do to manage stress. Among them, my favorite is watching comedy and playing games. I also watch comedy when I am with my husband, it can be a drama or a movie or a fun video. Then I play the gameThat is cricket or other types of mobile games that have Ludu can be opened and saved from the pressure of people. On the other hand, if you can't control the stress, you may face some kind of problem. That's why your post is definitely for everyone to get rid of people's pressurewill become important.
