RE: CONTEST: SCRIBBLING - LESSON 2.

This is my first time doing this. 😅 Big thanks to @wakeupkitty for inviting me to this contest. I had fun scribbling though I don't think I did well. 😁

My first attempt using pencil.

2nd attempt using ballpoint pen.

@alexanderkass @bluelavender guys try this out😃

This looks great! 🤩

I tried this but I am already influenced by a different way of scribbling because of a friend. I do like this so I try to do it differently but I have no idea where to start.

Did you do it before or draw before? Do you have a version with your own choice of light x shadow? Pen dus look more clear than pencil and fewer lines or?

What do you think @stef1 @joslud @tezzmax?

🍀♥️

Hi, @ despiertakitty.pal

You are right, an impressive doodle. I admire that talent.

Dear friend, today I understand you when you told us how hard it can be to lead the learning challenge.
I am experiencing it firsthand, but it is very rewarding,
@tezzmax is collaborating as an illustrator this week, take a look.
I am also backing this contest

Take a look around whenever you want with your accurate comments. 🤗

I had a look and left a comment although I am not sure if it is what you expected.
It's good to see you don't take the easy way and short stories are in the picture. There's way more time invested in it than people think. Each word counts and should make one think.

I am not sure if it was rewarding to me, I hope it was to those who joined since that was the goal and like inspiracion said a teaching model was set. Perhaps that is another helpful part for others?

A great day to you and thanks for stopping by and leaving the link.

🤗🍀♥️

I haven't done this before. I just followed the steps, took notice on parts that have much lighter shade and those with darker ones. Thanks for the positive remarks although I still have long way to go with this. 😄 Yes, a pen is more suited for the job. The pencil I used is for prototyping - a mechanical pencil 😅 maybe that's why it looked less defined?

Trust me, the pencil is also fine. With time you'll understand it all better. It's not so hard neither is it something to be learnt in a day. It's all "Poco a Poco".

I am sending you come hand claps right away! 👏👏👏

This is really impressive. You've got it. It's a great foundation to build on trust me.

Thank you for your positive feedback! I know there’s always room for improvement, and I'll see if I can do better next time.

Hi @henryclive, I think you should work on light and shadows in order to make your drawing more realistic, here is a great tutorial of Jorge

You're precisely right. I'll note that. I checked the linked you provided but I wonder can we apply those reference lines on round objects? . Thanks btw for sharing the link
