Ceteris paribus (everything been equal), which means that my safety and that of the mannequin are guaranteed, and the mannequin is not also responsive after breathing is not confirmed. That is to say, I should also be asking someone from the mob to call for an emergency. This would quickly take me into performing CPR on the victim.

Since my mannequin is an adult, therefore standard procedure for adult CPR is initiated. I will kneel just right to the mannequin with my right hand placed on the chest with the heel of the hand just half down the breastbone. I should also be placing the left hand on top of the right hand, interlocking the fingers together. It is best we use this pattern for chest compression so as not to quickly get tired. We could be a little vocal while counting compressions given to stay agile. (Recommended is 100 to 120 compressions per minute).
While carrying out the CPR, I shouldn't forget my DRABC protocol. At this time, I should check for the airways to confirm there are no obstructions in the airways. Head and chin tilting should be done to be certain.
Rescue breaths are sparingly done. People are skeptical if the victim isn't a relative to perform this task. This may be aligned with hygiene issues or the present condition of the victims of bleeding or salivating. However, if it is done, I should be able to close the close and breathe through the mouth. The mouth should be closed to avoid loss of air or oxygen.
The use of AED should be used when available. Since I do not have anyone here with me, I should be concentrating on my CPR alone.

These categories of people are delicate persons and hence would amount to adjusting the standardized approach in handling an adult CPR protocol. We should be looking at the position on the floor, the type of compression given, the breathing or ventilation procedure, and hand positioning. These are all a little tilting away from the standard CPR procedure.

Inadequate chest compression pressure. We may be lacking in this as per the recommended pressure inches required and recoil observance. When we apply the chest pressure, sometimes we don't allow the chest to recoil.
The Rescuer may be either too fast or too slow in applying heat compression aside from the pressure given above. The recommended speed should vary between 100 to 120 compression per minute.
Wrong hand position during CPR. We may wrongly place them on the chest other than half below the breastbone. Or maybe have a long or short arm position.
Act of not giving up during CPR despite fatigue. This causes poor pressure pumps on the chest which doesn't serve the purpose.
Stopping CPR at little sign of body movement. This, most times, reverses the already achieved mileage.
Trying to carry CPR on a foamy or soft spot. This defeats the goal of rightful chest compression.
Plan a simple campaign to raise awareness about CPR in your community. Write down the main goal of your campaign, who you want to reach (your target audience), and the key messages you want to share. Think about how you can spread the word (like using social media or holding a community event). Your plan should be clear and include a basic timeline showing when you will do each part of the campaign. (You only have to devise a working plan and not practically implement it.) |

My primary goal for this campaign is to increase awareness of CPR, its importance, and how. It could be done to save lives.
My Target Audience:
a. I will be looking after adults from 18 years and above.
b. Those with prerequisite health experiences like caregivers and social homes,
c. Business and community clusters
Key Messages:
a. CPR is easy to learn
b. CPR is effective
c. Anyone of different ages can carry our CPR
d. CPR can bring back nearly lost lives
e. CPR is the first aid for cardiac emergencies
Campaign Strategy/Medium of Awareness:
This would be a quarter intervention campaign that would cover at least 3 calendar months.
- I will be effectively using the social media platforms
- Door to Door and contact information dissemination
- Media and other promotional hypes
- Hands-on Training event
Social Media Hypes (week 1 & 2)
Most social media platforms would be used, especially Facebook, with far-reaching audiences. This would tailored to the locality to be used. This would be done through sound and attractive key messages, not forgetting infographics and hashtags.
Face to Face ground campaign (week 3 & 4)
This is where I have to maximize the use of fliers, brochures, and physical information tools. Visit social homes and local health facilities, especially striking partnership deals.
Media and other Promotion hypes (week 5 & 6)
The use of electronic information centers like the local radio and stations within coverage areas and the use of eye-catching banners.
Hands-on Event & Trainings (7 & 12 weeks)
At this point, all contacted stakeholders, including partnered social homes, healthcare centers, community dwellers, etc., are assembled for training and hands-on demonstration. There may be difficulty assembling all stakeholders at the same time, hence the need to have more week's allocation to host different training sessions.
In my budgeting plan for these different timelines,.I should be working with the limited resources in my coffers. This campaign may gulp about 250,000 Naira which is approximately 1000 steem value. Each of the given times would be allowed 250 steem, including the cost for miscellaneous.
Design a simple infographic (Illustration) that summarizes the basic steps of CPR for adults, children, and infants, including why CPR is important, and list situations when CPR might be needed (like drowning or heart attacks). |

I’d like to share that I have already read this student’s post, but I held off on grading it to allow for a broader review. This week, we’ve received only one submission so far for this assignment. My intention was to analyze why this might be the case — whether students found the lesson content challenging, whether it was complex, or if there’s perhaps a lack of engagement in completing the practical task rather than simply writing responses.
Last week, I reviewed almost 40 assignments, which provided great insight. Many students performed very well on quizzes, and I noticed a trend where some students may have simplified their responses, especially in illustration-based questions. I wanted to explore if AI assistance was a factor in these patterns.
To address this, I gave a practical task this week to assess if students are genuinely interested in learning or more inclined to write responses solely for votes and rewards. Evaluating students’ work is not difficult, as my previous reports highlight each student's strengths and areas for improvement.

I totally agree with you on this position. I have seen situations where students wait for sample entries to help them replicate and make their posts. You are not far from my views as to why I've remained calm for the nonreview all these times. More waiting time won't be that bad in exceptional circumstances like this. 👌
