Amazing Nature: Message From A Nature Spirit
My entry to @adalger’s #amazingnature contest. This New Years special topic is: NATURE SPIRIT"
This post is a true story about a nature tree spirit and the message I received.
There is so much we don’t understand about our existence and it is gradually becoming common knowledge that not only humans but everything in our universe has a spirit. Our native Indian people knew this from their beginning and would ask a tree’s permission to walk under one. The earth was sacred and referred to as the Mother Goddess. They felt it was their duty to pay respect and honor to it.
Unbelievable as it may seem, a nature tree spirit revealed to me the seriousness of a dear friend’s health. I believe it was also grieving.
The first revelation of the nature spirit was last June when I was leaving my friend’s driveway and my eye was drawn to the birch tree. I could see a small face looking out. I stopped to take a photo and thought it was great my friend had a nature tree spirit guardian right there along the driveway.
I felt he was judging who was coming in and out of her house.
Another day I went to visit my friend and she was having breathing problems. As I started to drive out the driveway I gasped as the face in the tree changed from the previous one and seemed to be wearing a mourning shroud halfway up his face. I knew it was a sign to me of the real state of my friend’s health.
As I type this my friend is in the palliative care unit at the local hospital. She is hooked up to oxygen 24-7 and the prognosis is not good.
The nature spirit in the tree was showing me he could see the future and was grieving for my friend. The cosmic is ruled by love and the nature spirit had love for my friend who cared for the lawn where the tree is located.
Different cultures have ways of honouring the forest: dancing, hugging, leaving small gifts, talking to and meditating under a tree.
Some people believe we go into trees when we die. The ancient Celts believed they came from trees.
It is becoming popular here to plant a tree in memory of a deceased loved one.
Druids of Ireland held the oak tree sacred. It is the most loved of the trees and not only for it’s strength and longevity but it was considered the cosmic storehouse of knowledge. They saw trees as magical living beings.
I have to agree with the druids about the magic in trees and also rocks. I had several occasions when the nature spirit in a rock or tree has revealed itself to me. If you look closely they can warn of dangers to your health by giving subtle clues.
The next time you hug a tree there might be more there than bark and foliage.

Hi Jo, what a lovely post reminding me of the Nature Spirit, I so believe. Grieving is very hard. We humans are on earth to experience the full gamut of emotions, sadness is one that is felt often. So sorry to hear about your friend.
Thanks so much Angie @angiemitchell. I’m happy you connected with the post. 💗
It’s sad to see my friend when there is no hope of her getting better. I try to visit quite often.

What an experience to witness, hope your friend is not in pain and when you are able let her know of her unusual companion.
All living things have ways of conveying messages, some may find that strange, it is something you have to experience to fully understand at the time.
We plant a rose bush, normally the one the person loved most, trees are another or small shrub to always feel their presence felt when nurturing new life.
Yes, my friend knows of the tree spirit but I did not tell her the message I received. She may intuitively know it anyway. She is on a lot of medication for pain but able to converse with me when I visit her in the hospital.
Planting a rose bus or tree is a wonderful way to memorize a loved one, Joan.
That is frig'n nuts.

The best of the New Year 2020 to you and your family,
I'm sending positive thoughts to your friend and I hope she will be okay!! I actually believe as you do and want to learn more of what we have lost. I believe we have a bigger connection to nature than we know as well.
Thank you Deb for your positive thoughts. I’m glad you understand our connection with nature. ❤️
