I am elated to see the progress about this above-ground train system construction here in my province
I am assuming that this train system should be completed in the late quarter of next year and so far so good every pre-fabricated platform where the track will be laid upon is being settled one by one by this "wachamacalit" machine. It is a slow process but these things has a timeline about when they would complete.
There will be a partial operation of this train system and then the full operation will make people able to travel from north to the southern province of the main island of my country. Although I have no plans nor in any way have objectives in travelling using this train, it will be important for other people to go places with much ease. I still have no idea if there will be plans to elongate the train system to reach to northernmost part of this main island but it would be awesome if it would reach the mountainous areas for the greater ease of people to go there fast and cheap.
I am hoping that regional products which are being traversed by this train system will reach many more areas of our main island and it will be a win-win for both merchants and consumers because of the ease of travel made by this modern above ground train system.
I actually had dreamed this morning about this train and I was looking at it from the ground where in the cutscene it was so elevated high above that I got so dizzy looking at it too far above and below. That is why I remembered taking its photos a few days ago and made this post about this new train system that I am quite excited about when it completes its construction.
Unlike in previous eras of presidency, this project will for sure get completed no matter who sit in as president of my country. It will not become a "white elephant" like that nuclear power plant which was being built in the province near our province in the south and it got stopped by the next president out of hate for the previous president. So she had a vengeful heart and let the people suffer by not getting cheaper energy source.
Now there is a plan to revive the nuclear power plant, not the old one but another new one and also maybe in the same site like the previous uncompleted one which my country still pays to General Electric and is still being maintained and is now used as a tourist attraction for students and other people who wants to visit it.
There is a clamor for people to finally have a cheaper source of electricity because our country has the most expensive electricity in the world. There are a lot of diesel and coal powerplants although we do have a geothermal and hydroelectric powerplants here in my country. So the high cost of electricity is hindering some potential manufacturing businesses outside my country to operate here because of such important factor to resolve.
For individuals or families or even other facilities like the hospital that operates the dialysis clinic where I am going to for my regular dialysis, we have an option to use the power of the sun to either supplement or power or electricity needs or relying on it off-grid. My brothers had done it already but my other brother had his constructed on-grid.
On-grid electricity means that the electricity generated by your solar power system is given to the "grid" but you are given credits for using electricity back from the grid and you can see it on your meter. You only get billed by the electricity company of you used all your credits generated by your solar power set-up.
The only downside about it is that when the grid losses power, you can only rely on your solar power set-up because this type of on-grid system that my brother use doesn't require batteries for storage of energy although I guess that he can opt-in for it but batteries are very expensive to procure considering that solar set-up expense by companies serving it would make you achieve a return on investment (ROI) plus you have to do maintain the solar panels as well like cleaning it in order to maximize its efficiency to create electricity.
If God wills it I will also try to have such solar set-up like this brother of mine had installed to his house so that we would not anymore have a problem about our electricity needs especially if me and my parents wanted to use an A/C without anymore worrying about the expensive bill that it will cause. Until now we do not have A/C installed but I guess that because my parents needs it, I might consider it although I wanted a hot weather all the time even though it is uncomfortable. Also, the price of cooking gas (LPG) had gone so up considerably and the only way to save us from buying such expensive need is to have a ?free" power coming from the Sun by a way of such Solar power set-up but now it just remains to be a plan because I still have more priorities to accomplish God-willing before resorting to another "need" to get done.
Anyway, I love to see the train system to get completed because of the aforementioned reasons simply because I love progress and like to see people getting help for their basic need to travel and do their business. The few presidents of this country had let the train system rot but the former and then the current president had made it possible for projects like this pass through for the benefits of the citizenry because aside from these projects of progress, we are in the dialysis community also benefited a life-bridging and changing improvement because now, dialysis treatment are free of charge, free of co-payments, and free medicines on top of it. Thanks a million to God for all his patience and mercy over our country and us the benefactors of our government's projects and universal health care system.

I completely agree with the importance of a modern railway system to facilitate travel and trade. Unfortunately, here on the island of Phuket, we don't have a train station as the island is not connected to the railway network. It's really a shame, as it could help reduce traffic congestion and offer a more affordable travel option. The nearest station with a rail connection to Bangkok is in Surat Thani, about 275 km to the west, which is quite far for those who wish to take the train. It would be great to see Phuket connected to the railway network someday!
Hello, It will be good if your place there would have a train system and maybe if Thailand would get to be more wealthy as a nation in my opinion they would consider it. However your your place might be better without train system because it is just small and the return on investment by making a train system would not that be much profitable if not the time to return on investment will be long.
But definitely, a train system between islands of attraction in Thailand will boost the tourism economy but it may very well kill the local transportation economy like boat transportation which also contributes a lot for Thailand's revenue generation.
