The fruit of equations with many unknowns.

Any architectural structure is the fruit of solving many equations with many unknowns at all stages from design to commissioning of the structure.

Yes, equations are everywhere, both in geodetic surveys and in geological surveys to establish the degree of soil subsidence which subsequently affects the equations whose purpose is to establish the necessary materials for construction based on their resistance to external factors.

It would seem that the equations should end there, but no, where questions end for the architect they can arise for those who operate the structure and apparently because some design solutions change over time and where for example there were door and window openings blind walled-up walls appear.

Or suddenly on a one-story building the soil loads of which were calculated for one floor suddenly a second floor may appear and more.

Time and the human factor are the very variables that are difficult to take into account in any equation.
