The default setting is equal to 14( =14) because price was taken into account for a period of 14days.
- By default, the length of the RSI is 14, its amplitude then depends on the time unit of your graph. On a 1 minute chart, the latest RSI value will take into account the last 14 minutes. On a 1-day graph, the last 14 days, etc.
An article lacks a lot of work in terms of information and analysis, which made your answers unclear.
