RE: The Culture ... کلچر

Hi @aliabid01

I really enjoyed reading the topic you have chosen for your post. You have shared many important things with us. there also so many things in our culture we do in our our village And in some villages people do not even know about these things.

As after that you have mentioned very important thing to us that women also work in the village then you have rightly said that women are not allowed to work outside before marriage but after marriage. Women help their husbands in outside work and help them in outside work and they also do housework.

After that you said that as you said rightly that earthenware is also used in the village but many things have been developed and many villages have also been developed and earthenware is no longer used there. Steel utensils are used there and new things are grown, of course, but these indigenous things are the hallmark of the village, and I love villages like this where people still live in mud houses. They use pottery and they still carry their old customs and culture and I like these villages very much.

And I have not heard this thing at all like you said that in Sri Lanka when someone dies they call people to come here and as we do not have that at all in Pakistan. It would happen because when someone dies, crying is not at all necessary because it is not in our Islam, but people cry because of the pain of their loved ones.

After that, you told us that when there are celebrations like marriage etc., all the people gather there, it is very beneficial for the village. If there is no problem, no one is worried, then everyone will help him, everyone will stand by him. Even in the cities, this thing has completely disappeared. I understand others, but from what I have seen, if you are living in the cities, even the next house does not know what is happening there, but in the village these things are still intact. People come together and share in each other's joys and sorrows and all the joys we share together.
Indeed, these things bring a sense of brotherhood among you, which is told to us in our islam.

Apart from that you have shared many more things with us in your post but I want to know what is the culture of your village which you like the most and what are you proud of. Let's say that this culture still exists in our village?

best regards

First of all thank you very much @samaviya-doll you have made such a great comment and expressed your love for our culture. If I talk about earthenware, they are also rarely used here but are still being used.

So now I come to your question. First of all, let me say that culture is not a single thing, it is a combination of many things.

And what I am proud of in our culture is that in the neighborhood and nearby, if there is an emergency in someone's house like someone suddenly falls ill or someone has an accident etc. So all the villagers take whatever savings they have and reach their house and give them to take as much as you need and later give it to us.

So I think that this is something that you save humanity with. If a person is in an emergency and his life is saved because of these few bucks, then it is a very rewarding work, but I don't think it is. It happens everywhere that people go and give their savings to them.
