RE: Is Kale or Spinach Better At Protecting You From Cancer?
Rad!! Ya I guess leafy greens are all so good for you that there isn't as much testing.
The red kale just "looks" amazing, I feel like I got some sort of benefit by just looking at it.
I'm cooking pasta in a few and now I feel inspired to throw some frozen spinach into the sauce hehe.
(My instincts feel like frozen spinach loses something relative to fresh spinach .. not sure, not that it really matters .. I know most veggies don't really lose anything from freezing)
Spinach always is nice is pasta imo, just don't add too much! I always use it when I make lasagna, I'm always too lazy for regular spaghetti though.
More than how it's stored is where it's from and how you cook it, although fresh is usually better taste/quality wise at least :)
Ya it could just be the type of spinach they use in the store bought, 99cent "chopped spinach" package isn't up to snuff relative to most fresh spinach (rather than that it's frozen, per se)
