Being Strong For Your Loved Ones - With My Wife at The E.R

in #health6 years ago

On this saturday morning I found myself in the hospital with my wife. She hurt her rib while we were playing with our nephew this evening.

At first the pain wasn't too bad, but as the day progressed she start to feel more and more pain, up to the point she asked to leave her work and I took her to the E.R at 3:30 AM on a saturday night.

Luckily, the rib isn't broken and we will soon go home and while waiting for the release papers, I decided to share an important thought in this short post.

When our loved ones are in trouble, pain and in suffering, we easily spiral down to panic, nervousness and anxiety trying to deal with the situation and not really being able to help.
Being in that state is natural but sadly it can't help your loved one, actually it can only make things worse.

Taking my wife to the hospital, even though I was a little nervous, I stayed strong and confident, hoping my wife can get some of that energy and relax as much as possible. It really helped her while we were waiting for the doctor to check up on her.

I believe that it is important to be positive, supportive and relaxed while helping your dearest through difficult situations. Pity, anxiety and nervousness only create more stress. Stress is proven to have an extremely bad influence on a persons well being up to the point it can lead to blindness, panic attacks and comatose states.

As the people that are supposed to help and support our loved ones, we need to try and relieve their stress as much as possible with smiles, jokes and warm and kind words.
I really tried to make my wife laugh, relax and take it easy as much as possible. I think it helped her and she is sleeping with an angelic face now.

Mission successfully acomplished.

Support your loved ones and be a beacon of positivity, compassion and kindness.

Thank you for your time.

With love.

Eugene

I felt inspired to cast a few cards on your situation. I hope you won't be offended, it comes from positive intent. Maybe you are secular enough to not get mad at Tarot cards. ;)

Question
What can @eugenekul do to maximize his wife's healing?

Page of Wands, 2 of Swords, Page of Swords

  • Exude loving, positive healing energy towards her. (Page of Wands)

  • Neutralized any negative emotion. It simply does not serve. Be of peace of mind. (2 of Swords)

  • Keep a hidden eye on her (your eye or somebody else's) at times, because she might be concealing her need for assistance. Her positive intent in this regard may delay her healing. She is just trying to be good to you, thats all.

Wishing her a speedy recovery!

Thank you for the cast
