Settled on the Smith and Wesson 627.

I was watching the first Dirty Harry film before I put in my order for my new gun.

Obviously, the famous Dirty Harry gun is a .44 Magnum.

I was kinda considering getting one of those guns.

I finally settled on the Smith and Wesson 627.

I didn't realize until now that that was the same gun that Clint Eastwood was carrying in Blood Work.

My first gun was, and is, a .45 Single Action Army Revolver that my dad bought for me when I was seventeen or so.

I'm used to them.

I've never had a failure with a revolver.

I know that I don't have to worry about a revolver being out of battery if I need to press it against an attacker.

Incidentally, that's also why I picked a 1911 over a strikerfire pistol.
